These two are disputing about their Lord (Surah Hajj 22:19)

Hadith No: 1

Narrated `Ali:

The following Holy Verse:-- "These two opponents (believers and disbelievers) dispute with each other about their Lord." (22.19) was revealed concerning us.

Hadith No: 2

Narrated Qais:

I heard Abu Dhar swearing that the following Holy verse:-- "These two opponents (believers and disbelievers) disputing with each other about their Lord," (22.19) was revealed concerning those men who fought on the day of Badr, namely, Hamza, `Ali, Ubaida bin Al-Harith, `Utba and Shaiba----the two sons of Rabi`a-- and Al-Walid bin `Utba.

Hadith No: 3

Qais Ibn Ibaad narrates that I have heard Abu Dharr take an oath that this verse:

These two adversaries who dispute about their Lord" (22:19) was revealed in connection with those who on the Day of Badr came out (of rows to fight against the non-believers and they were) Hamza, 'Ali, 'Ubaida b. Harith (from the side of the Muslims) and 'Utba and Shaiba, both of them the sons of Rabi'a and Walid b. 'Utba (from the side of the non-believers of Mecca). 

This hadith has been narrated on the authority of Abu Dharr through another chain of transmitters.
