After that, a boy emerged from that tent, just approaching puberty, and began to pray. I said to al-Abbas, 'Who is this?' He replied, 'This is Muhammad ibn Abdullah ibn Abd al-Muttalib, my nephew.' I asked, 'And who is this woman?' He said, 'His wife, Khadijah bint Khuwailid.' I continued, 'Who is this boy?' He replied, 'Ali ibn Abi Talib, his cousin.' He believes that the treasures of Kisra and Qaysar will be opened to him." Afif embraced Islam after that and was the cousin of al-Ash'ath ibn Qays.
