2054 - Abu Sa‘īd narrated to us, saying: Musā ibn Dāwud narrated to us, saying: ʿAlī ibn ʿAbis narrated to us, from Muslim al-A‘war from Anas, who said: "The Messenger of Allah (peace be upon him and his holy progeny) was notified on a Monday, and ʿAlī (peace be upon him) accepted Islam on Tuesday," or he said, "ʿAlī prayed (with him) on Tuesday."

385 - Muhammad narrated to us, saying: Waki' narrated to me, from Shu'bah, from Amr ibn Murrah from Abu Hamzah, the freedman of the Ansar, who said: "The first to embrace Islam with the Messenger of Allah (peace be upon him and his holy progeny) was Ali." Amr ibn Murrah then said: So I went to Ibrahim and mentioned this to him, and he denied it, saying, "Abu Bakr" (may Allah have mercy on them both).
