Then the year 37 entered - What was narrated about the Kharijites in the raised hadiths to the Messenger of Allah (peace be upon him and his holy progeny)

- .... As for the hadith in which Hafiz Abu Ya'la said: Ismail ibn Musa narrated to us, al-Rabi' ibn Sahil narrated to us from Sa'id ibn Ubaid
from Ali ibn Rabi'a, who said: I heard Ali say on this very minbar: "The Prophet (peace be upon him and his holy progeny) entrusted me with the command to fight the Nakithin, Qasitin, and Marqin." - .... And Hafiz Abu Ahmad ibn Adi narrated it in his (al-Kamil): from Ahmad ibn Hafs al-Baghdadi, from Sulayman ibn Yusuf, from Ubaydullah ibn Musa, from Fitr, from Hakim ibn Jubayr, from Ibrahim, from Alqama
from Ali, who said: "I was commanded to fight the Nakithin, Qasitin, and Marqin."- .... And Hafiz Abu Bakr al-Khatib al-Baghdadi said: Al-Azhari informed me: Muhammad ibn al-Mu'tazfar narrated to us, Muhammad ibn Ahmad ibn Thabit narrated to us, saying: I found in my grandfather Muhammad ibn Thabit's book: Shu'ayb ibn al-Hasan al-Sulami narrated to us from Ja'far al-Ahmar, from Yunus ibn al-Arqam, from Aban
from Khulayd al-Masri, who said: I heard Ali, the Commander of the Faithful, say on the day of Nahrawan: "The Messenger of Allah (peace be upon him and his holy progeny) commanded me to fight the Nakithin, Marqin, and Qasitin."- .... And Hafiz Abu al-Qasim ibn Asakir narrated it from the hadith of Muhammad ibn Farj al-Jundisayburi, who said: Harun ibn Ishaq narrated to us, Abu Ghassan narrated to us from Ja'far - I think he meant al-Ahmar - from Abd al-Jabbar al-Hamdani, from Anas ibn Amr, from his father
from Ali, who said: "I was commanded to fight three: the Marqin, the Qasitin, and the Nakithin."- .... And al-Hakim or Abdullah said: Abu al-Husayn Muhammad ibn Ahmad ibn Ghanam al-Hanthalih narrated to us in the Qantara of Burdan: Muhammad ibn al-Hasan ibn Atiyya ibn Sa'd al-'Ufi narrated to me from my father, from my uncle, from Amr ibn Atiyya ibn Sa'd, from his brother, Hasan ibn Atiyya, who narrated to me from my grandfather Ibn Junada
from Ali (peace be upon him), who said: "I was commanded to fight three: the Qasitin, the Nakithin, and the Marqin." As for the Qasitun, they were the people of Sham, and the Nakithun, he mentioned them, and the Marqin were the people of Nahrawan - meaning the Haruriyah.
