1803 - Amr ibn Ishaq narrated to us, saying: My father narrated to us, saying: Amr ibn al-Harith narrated to us, from Abdullah ibn Salim, from al-Zubaydi, who said: Muhammad ibn Muslim informed me, from al-Duhak al-Hamdani and Abu Salamah ibn Abd al-Rahman, from Abu Sa'id al-Khudri, who said: A man from Banu Tamim, called Dhul-Khuwaysirah, came to the Prophet (peace be upon him and his holy progeny) while he was dividing something that had been brought to him, and Dhul-Khuwaysirah said to him: "Be just, O Messenger of Allah." The Prophet replied: "Woe to you! Who is just if I am not? You have failed and lost if I am not just." Umar said: "Let me, O Messenger of Allah, strike his neck." The Prophet replied: "Leave him, for he has companions among them who will make your prayer seem insignificant compared to the prayer of one of them, and your fasting insignificant compared to the fasting of one of them. They will emerge from Islam as an arrow darts out from a bow, and he will look at their remnants but find nothing in them, then he will look at their traces but find nothing in them. They will have preceded the filth and blood." Among them is a black man with one of his hands resembling a woman's breast or a morsel, shaking as they come out during a time of forgetfulness from the people."
Abu Sa'id said: "So bear witness that I heard this from the Messenger of Allah (peace be upon him and his holy progeny), and testify that Ali, when he killed them, commanded, while I was with him, that man be sought, and he was looked for among the slain and found." He was brought, and I saw him described as the Prophet of Allah (peace be upon him and his holy progeny) described.
