He said: "O Allah, bring me a man whom You love to eat with me from this bird." I said: "O Allah, make him a man from the Ansar." Then there was a knock at the door, and I came and said: "Who is this?" He replied: "I am Ali." I said: "The Prophet (peace be upon him and his holy progeny) has only just entered now." Then I returned to my place. The Prophet (peace be upon him and his holy progeny) repeated the invitation and said: "O Allah, bring me a man whom You love to eat with me from this bird." The Prophet (peace be upon him and his holy progeny) repeated the invitation, and there was a knock at the door. The Prophet (peace be upon him and his holy progeny) said: "Open, O Anas."
