1139 - Al-Mansur ibn Abi al-Hasan al-Faqih narrated to us with his chain to Abu Ya'la, who said: Al-Hasan ibn Hamad narrated to us, as did Musahhir ibn Abd al-Malik, a trustworthy narrator, who said: Isa ibn Umar narrated to us from al-Suddi from Anas ibn Malik that the Prophet (peace be upon him and his holy progeny) was with him a bird, and he said: "O Allah, bring me Your beloved creation to eat with me from this bird." Then Abu Bakr came and the Prophet (peace be upon him and his holy progeny) rejected him. Then Uthman came, and he rejected him. Finally, Ali came, and he allowed him in. The mention of Abu Bakr and Uthman in this hadith is very strange, and it has been narrated through multiple channels from Anas, as well as by others besides Anas from the companions.

1140 - Ali ibn Abi Talib: .... Abu al-Faraj al-Thaqafi narrated to us, saying: Al-Hasan ibn Isa narrated to us, saying: Al-Hasan ibn Ahmad narrated to us while I was present, hearing, and said: Ahmad ibn Abdullah al-Hafiz narrated to us, saying: Muhammad ibn Ishaq ibn Ibrahim al-Ahwazi narrated to us, saying: Al-Hasan ibn Isa narrated to us, saying: Al-Hasan ibn al-Sumayd' narrated to us, saying: Musa ibn Abi Ayyub narrated to us, from Shu'ayb ibn Ishaq, from Abu Hanifah, from Mas'ar, from Hammad, from Ibrahim from Anas, who said: "A bird was presented to the Prophet (peace be upon him and his holy progeny), and he said: 'O Allah, bring me the dearest of Your creatures to You.'" Then Ali came and ate with him. This was narrated only by Shu'ayb from Abu Hanifah.
