1140 - Ali ibn Abi Talib: .... Abu al-Faraj al-Thaqafi narrated to us, saying: Al-Hasan ibn Isa narrated to us, saying: Al-Hasan ibn Ahmad narrated to us while I was present, hearing, and said: Ahmad ibn Abdullah al-Hafiz narrated to us, saying: Muhammad ibn Ishaq ibn Ibrahim al-Ahwazi narrated to us, saying: Al-Hasan ibn Isa narrated to us, saying: Al-Hasan ibn al-Sumayd' narrated to us, saying: Musa ibn Abi Ayyub narrated to us, from Shu'ayb ibn Ishaq, from Abu Hanifah, from Mas'ar, from Hammad, from Ibrahim
from Anas, who said: "A bird was presented to the Prophet (peace be upon him and his holy progeny), and he said: 'O Allah, bring me the dearest of Your creatures to You.'" Then Ali came and ate with him. This was narrated only by Shu'ayb from Abu Hanifah.
