Al-Shaykh al-Mahmudi - Letters on the Hadith of the Sun being Returned

- As for the narrators of the hadith from the companions of the Messenger of Allah (peace be upon him and his holy progeny), those whose narrations we have found are nine:
The first:
Imam Amir al-Mu'minin (peace be upon him), and his hadith was narrated by al-Hafiz al-Hasakani and Abu al-Hasan Shadhan al-Fadhli. The researcher will find the hadith among the last narrations we have attached to the hadith in reference (815) from the chapter on the translation of Amir al-Mu'minin (peace be upon him) in Tarikh Damishq - Volume (2) - Page number (303) - Second edition.
The second:
Imam al-Husayn (peace be upon him), and his hadith is under (number 158) in the book Al-Dhurriyah al-Tahirah, on page (28/b), and it was mentioned earlier.
The third:
Jabir ibn Abd Allah al-Ansari, and his hadith is in the final section of Chapter (19) of Manaqib al-Khwarizmi - page (236). It was also narrated by Shadhan al-Fadhli in the last hadith of his letter on the Return of the Sun and by al-Tabarani in al-Awsat, as mentioned in my commentary on Tarikh Damishq - Volume (2) - Page number (301).
The fourth:
Abu Rafi', the freedman of the Messenger of Allah (peace be upon him and his holy progeny), and his hadith is under number (141) in Manaqib Ibn Maghazili - Page number (98).
The fifth:
Abu Sa'id al-Khudri, may Allah exalt his station, and his hadith is in the letter on the Return of the Sun by al-Hafiz al-Hasakani.
The sixth:
Abu Huraira, and his hadith is in the letter of Abu al-Hasan Shadhan al-Fadhli and the letter of al-Hafiz al-Hasakani.
The seventh:
Anas ibn Malik, as narrated by him by Muhammad ibn Sulayman, who died in the year (322), in hadith (1020) of Manaqib Amir al-Mu'minin (peace be upon him), Volume (2) - Page number (516) - First edition.
The eighth:
Abd Allah ibn Abbas, and his hadith is in the virtue (75) of a Hundred Virtues by Ibn Shadhan - Page number (143) - and in hadith (72) of Chapter (19) of Manaqib al-Khwarizmi - Page number (236).
The ninth: the female companion
Asma' bint Umays, may Allah exalt her station, and her hadith can be considered to be mutawatir (widely transmitted) in meaning due to the numerous chains and sources.
