17953 - Abu Nu'aim narrated to us, saying: Yunus narrated to us, saying: al-Ayuzar ibn Huraith narrated to us, who said: Nu'man ibn Bashir said, "Abu Bakr sought permission to enter upon the Messenger of Allah (peace be upon him and his holy progeny), and he heard the voice of Aisha raised, as she said, 'By Allah, I certainly know that Ali is more beloved to you than my father and me, twice or three times!'" So Abu Bakr sought permission again and entered, and he reached for her, saying: "O daughter of so-and-so, do I not hear you raising your voice over the Messenger of Allah (peace be upon him and his holy progeny)?"

22459 - Ibn Numayr narrated to us, from Sharik who said: Abu Rubay'ah narrated to us, from Ibn Buraydah, from his father, who said: The Messenger of Allah (peace be upon him and his holy progeny) said: "Indeed, Allah, the Almighty, loves four of my companions. He informed me that He loves them and commanded me to love them." They said, "Who are they, O Messenger of Allah?" He replied, "Indeed, Ali is one of them," and Abu Dharr al-Ghifari, Salman al-Farsi, and Miqdad ibn al-Aswad al-Kindi.

I see Sharik among them." Sharik said: And he told me that He loves them: Ali (peace be upon him) from them, and Abu Dharr, Salman, and al-Miqdad al-Kindi.

39 - Abdullah narrated to us, saying: My father narrated to me, from Al-Nu'man ibn Bashir Al-Makki, from Yunus, from Al-Ayizar ibn Harith, who said: Al-Nu'man ibn Bashir said: Abu Bakr sought permission to enter upon the Messenger of Allah (peace be upon him and his holy progeny), and he heard Aisha's voice raised, as she was saying: "By Allah, I certainly know that Ali is more beloved to you than my father," twice or three times. So, Abu Bakr sought permission and entered, and he reached out to her, saying: "O daughter of so-and-so, should I not hear you raising your voice over the Messenger of Allah (peace be upon him and his holy progeny)?"

Indeed, you, O Ali, are one of them. Indeed, you, O Ali, are one of them."

1176 - Abdullah said: My father narrated to us, saying: Aswad ibn Amer narrated to me, from Sharik, from Abu Rabi'ah from Ibn Buraydah, from his father, from the Prophet (peace be upon him and his holy progeny), who said: "Allah, the Mighty and Majestic be He, commanded me to love four of my companions." I see that Sharik said, and he informed me that He loves them, Ali (peace be upon him) being one of them. Along with him were Abu Dharr, Salman, and al-Miqdad al-Kindi.
