- Abu al-Qasim ibn al-Samarqandi narrated to us, saying: Abu al-Qasim ibn Mus'adah narrated to me, saying: Hamzah ibn Yusuf narrated to me, saying: Abu Ahmad ibn Adi narrated to us, saying: al-Nu'man ibn Harun al-Baladi, Muhammad ibn Ahmad ibn al-Mu'mal al-Sayyirafi, and Abd al-Malik ibn Muhammad said: Ahmad ibn Abdullah ibn Yazid al-Mu'allim narrated to us, saying: Abd al-Razzaq narrated to me from Sufyan, from Abdullah ibn Uthman ibn Khuthaym
from Abd al-Rahman ibn Bahman, who said: I heard Jabir say: I heard the Messenger of Allah (peace be upon him and his holy progeny) say on the day of Hudaybiyyah, while he was holding Ali ibn Abi Talib's forearm and saying: "This is the Commander of the Righteous and the Fighter of the Unrighteous, supported is he who aids him, and forsaken is he who forsakes him," then he raised his voice with this and said: "I am the city of knowledge, and Ali is its gate. Whoever wishes for the home should come to the gate."
- And Abu al-Qasim al-Nasib and Abu al-Hasan ibn Qubais narrated to us, saying: Abu Mansur ibn Khayrun and Abu Bakr al-Khatib al-Hafiz narrated to us, saying: Abu Talib Yahya ibn Ali al-Dusakri in Halwan narrated to us, saying: Abu Bakr ibn al-Muqri narrated to us, saying: Abu al-Tayyib Muhammad ibn Abd al-Samad al-Duqaq al-Baghdadi narrated to us, saying: Ahmad ibn Abdullah Abu Ja'far al-Katib narrated to us, saying: Abd al-Razzaq narrated to me from Sufyan, who said, from Sa'id al-Thawri, from Abdullah ibn Uthman ibn Khuthaym
