- Muhammad ibn al-Muẓaffar narrated to us, dictating, saying: Abu Ali Muhammad ibn al-Dahhak ibn Amr narrated to us, saying: Sahl ibn Abd Allah al-Zahid narrated to us, from Sulayman ibn Abd al-Rahman, from Muhammad ibn Abd al-Rahman al-Qushayri, from Abd al-Malik ibn Abi Sulayman, from Atiyya, from Abu Sa'id al-Khudri, from the Prophet (peace be upon him and his holy progeny), who said: "I was given five things regarding Ali. One of them is that he willCover my nakedness,
the second is that he will pay off my debts, the third is that he will be leaning in my favor in the length of the Day of Judgment, the fourth is that he will be my support at my Pond, and the fifth is that I do not fear for him returning to disbelief after faith or to adultery after chastity." Thus, Ibn al-Muẓaffar narrated to us and said: "Sahl al-Zahid is al-Tustari." I said to him: "There is in our land Sahl ibn Abd Allah Abu Tahir. Is that him?" He insisted that it was only al-Tustari.
