36706 - Ali reported: The Messenger of Allah (peace be upon him and his holy progeny) said, "When I was taken on the Night Journey to the seventh heaven, Gabriel said to me, 'Advance, O Muhammad, for by Allah, no angel close to Allah nor prophet sent has attained this honor.'" Then my Lord revealed something to me. When I returned, a caller from behind a veil announced: "Yes, a good father is your father Ibrahim
and a good brother is your brother Ali. So, be well-disposed towards him." The Prophet (peace be upon him and his holy progeny) said, "O Gabriel, tell the Quraysh that I visited my Lord." He replied, "Yes." The Prophet then asked, "Will the Quraysh disbelieve me?" Gabriel said, "Not all of them; among them is Abu Bakr, and it is written with Allah that he is the Truthful, and he will believe you, O Muhammad. Convey my peace to Umar."
