- .... And the third: There is no deity except Allah, Muhammad is the Messenger of Allah, the length of each line will be a journey of a thousand years and its width a journey of a thousand years. You will proceed with the banner, and Hasan will be on your right and Husayn on your left, until you stand between me and Ibrahim in the shade of the Throne. You will be dressed in a green robe from the garments of Paradise, then the caller will announce from near the Throne, "Yes, your father is a goodly father, Ibrahim and your brother is an excellent brother, Ali." Remember, I give you glad tidings, O Ali: you will be called when you are called, you will be clothed when you are clothed, and you will live when you are given life.

- .... He said: Do you not know that the Messenger of Allah (peace be upon him and his holy progeny) said, "When I was taken on the Night Journey to the seventh heaven, I was raised to canopies of light, then lifted to veils of light. The Almighty spoke to me and told me things. When I returned from Him, a caller from behind the veils called out: 'Yes, a good father is your father Ibrahim, and a good brother is your brother Ali. Treat him well.' They said: Yes. Then he continued: 'Do you know that the doors of the mosque have been closed, and my door remains open? No one among you may enter the mosque in a state of impurity except me.'"

- .... And he is the Banner of Praise, which you will carry as you walk among the two crowds, Adam and all of God's creation - Exalted be He - seeking refuge in the shade of my banner on the Day of Judgment. You will move with the banner, and al-Hasan to your right, and al-Husayn to your left, until you stop between me and Ibrahim in the shadow of the Throne. Then you will be dressed in a robe from the garments of Paradise, and a caller will announce from beneath the Throne: "O Muhammad, what a wonderful father your father Ibrahim is and what a wonderful brother your brother Ali is." Rejoice, O Ali, for you will be clothed when clothed, called when called, and live when you are made to live." Ahmad narrated it in al-Manaqib.

373 - Narrative Eight: Abu Abdillah Ahmad ibn Hanbal narrated it in the two mentioned books: "I am the first to be called on the Day of Resurrection, and I will stand at the right side of the Throne in its shade. Then I will be dressed in a robe, and the prophets will be called, some following others, and they will stand at the right side of the Throne and be dressed in robes. Then Ali ibn Abi Talib will be called, due to his closeness and status with Me, and my banner, the Banner of Praise, will be handed to him—Adam and those beneath him will be under that banner. Then He will say to Ali: 'You will march with it until you stand between Me and Ibrahim al-Khaleel (Abraham the Friend), and you will be dressed in a robe.' And a caller from the Throne will proclaim: 'Yes, a wonderful father is your father Ibrahim, and a wonderful brother is your brother Ali. Rejoice, for you will be called when called, dressed when dressed, and live when you are given life.'"

- .... And she said: O my father, indeed the women of Quraysh are saying to me: Your father has married you to someone who has no wealth. He replied: Why? By Allah, I did not marry you until Allah married you above His Throne, and His angels bear witness to that. Then he said: And Allah looked upon the people of the world and chose your father from among the creatures, sending him as a messenger and prophet. Then He looked a second time and chose Ali from among the creatures, marrying you to him and making him My guardian. He is the bravest of people in heart, the most patient of them in temperament, the most generous of them in hand, the foremost of them in submission, and the most knowledgeable of them in knowledge. On the Day of Resurrection, the Banner of Praise will be in his hand, and a caller will proclaim: O Muhammad, yes, a good father is your father Ibrahim and yes, a good brother is your brother Ali.
