Volume: (6) - Page Number: (190)
- Abu Mansur Abdul Qahir ibn Tahir al-Faqih, Abu Nasr ibn Qatadah, Abdul Rahman ibn Ali ibn Hamdan, and Abu Nasr Ahmad ibn Abdul Rahman al-Saffar told us, saying: Abu Amr Isma'il ibn Najid al-Sulami narrated to us, saying: Abu Muslim al-Kaji narrated to us, saying: the Ansari narrated to us, saying: Ibn Aun narrated to us, and he said: Muhammad ibn Muhammad ibn al-Aswad narrated to me from Amir ibn Sa'd, who said: While Sa'd was walking, he passed by a man who was insulting Ali, Talhah, and al-Zubair. Sa'd said to him: "Indeed, you are insulting people against whom a decree has already been made by Allah. By Allah, you will either refrain from insulting them, or I will call upon Allah to take action against you." The man replied: "Is he threatening me? He sounds like a prophet." Sa'd then said: "O Allah, if he is insulting people against whom a decree has already been made by You, make him an example today." Then a Bukhhtiyah (a type of punishment) came, the people parted, and it struck him. I saw people following Sa'd and saying: "Allah has answered you, Abu Ishaq."

233 - Abu Dawud narrated to us, he said: Shu'bah narrated to us from al-Har ibn al-Sayyaḥ al-Nakha'i, who said: I heard Abd al-Rahman ibn al-Akhnas say: "I witnessed al-Mughira ibn Shu'ba delivering a sermon, and he spoke ill of Ali." Then Sa'id ibn Zayd ibn Amr ibn Nufayl al-Adawi, a man from the Quraish (r), stood up and said: "I bear witness that I heard the Messenger of Allah (peace be upon him and his holy progeny) say, 'Ten are in Paradise: the Messenger of Allah, Abu Bakr, Umar, Uthman, Ali, Talha, al-Zubayr, Sa'd ibn Malik, and Abd al-Rahman ibn Awf (r). And if I wished, I could name the tenth.'" Then he named him, and Sa'id ibn Zayd said.

And among what Bukayr ibn Mismar narrated from Amir ibn Sa'd from his father, Sa'd:
Volume: (3) - Page Number: (324)
1120 - Muhammad ibn al-Muthanna narrated to us, saying: Abu Bakr al-Hanafi Abd al-Kabir ibn Abd al-Majid narrated to us, saying: Bukayr ibn Mismar narrated to us, saying: I heard Amir ibn Sa'd narrating, who said: A man said to Sa'd: "What prevents you from reviling Ali?" Sa'd replied: "I do not revile him as long as I remember three things he said to him that the Messenger of Allah (peace be upon him and his holy progeny) said: For him to have said one of them to me would be more beloved than red camels." Another man said: "What are they, O Abu Ishaq?" Sa'd replied: "I do not revile him as long as I remember when the divine revelation descended upon him, and he bent over him and his daughter Fatimah, and his two sons, and gathered them under his robe, then said: 'O Allah, these are my family and the people of my house.'" Nor do I revile him when he (the Prophet) left him in a battle he was engaged in, and Ali said to him: "You have left me with the women and children." He replied: "Would you not be pleased to be in relation to me as Aaron was to Moses, except that there is no prophethood after me?" Nor do I revile him as long as I remember on the day of Khaybar when the Messenger of Allah (peace be upon him and his holy progeny) said: "Tomorrow, I will give the banner to a man who loves Allah and His Messenger, and Allah will grant victory through his hands." Many people began to stretch out for it, but the Messenger of Allah (peace be upon him and his holy progeny) said: "Where is Ali?" They said: "He is right here." He said: "Call him." So they called him, and he (the Prophet) spat in his eye and then gave him the banner, and Allah granted victory through him." Sa'd concluded: "By Allah, that man did not mention Ali without recalling this, nor did he mention it until he left the city." And this hadith, in this wording, is one that we do not know was narrated by anyone except Bukayr ibn Mismar from Amir ibn Sa'd from his father.

He said, "Woe to you! Do you know who you are mentioning? I heard the Messenger of Allah (peace be upon him and his holy progeny) say, 'Ten are in Paradise.'" The Messenger of Allah (peace be upon him and his holy progeny) said, "I am in Paradise, and Abu Bakr is in Paradise, and Umar is in Paradise, and Uthman is in Paradise, and Ali is in Paradise, and Talha is in Paradise, and Zubair is in Paradise, and Abd al-Rahman ibn Awf is in Paradise, and Sa'id is in Paradise."
