Ibn Ali Yahya al-Nisaburi mentioned
Ali said, "Those who wade into ruin for loving a misguided one with what is not in me, and hating a slanderer."

4681 - Abu al-Abbas Muhammad ibn Ya'qub narrated to us, saying: Al-Hasan ibn Ali ibn Affan al-Amiri narrated to us, saying: Abdullah ibn Numayr narrated to us, saying: Ahmad ibn Sahil al-Faqih in Bukhara narrated to us, saying: Abu Asim Sahl ibn al-Mutawakil al-Bukhari narrated to us, saying: Iffan and Suleiman ibn Harb both said: Hamad ibn Salamah narrated to us, from Muhammad ibn Ibrahim al-Taymi, from Salamah ibn Abi al-Tufayl, I believe, from his father,
from Ali (r), who said: The Messenger of Allah (s.a.w.a.) said to me: "O Ali, you have a treasure in Paradise, and you are its two-horned one."
So do not follow one glance with another, for the first is for you and the latter is not." This is a hadith with a sound chain of narrators, and they did not include it.
