3933 - Abu Ya'la said: Yahya ibn Mufazzal al-Qawwari narrated to us, from Harmi ibn Imarah, from al-Fadl ibn Umayrah Abu Qutaybah al-Qaysi, who said: Maymun al-Kurdi Abu Basir narrated to me from Abu Uthman
from Ali ibn Abi Talib, who said: "While the Messenger of Allah (peace be upon him and his holy progeny) was taking my hand and we were walking in one of the alleys of the city, we came upon a garden, and I said, 'O Messenger of Allah, how beautiful this garden is!' He replied, 'You will have one in Paradise that is more beautiful than it.'" Until we passed by seven gardens, each time I would say, "How beautiful this is!" and he would say, "You will have one in Paradise that is more beautiful than it." When the way was clear for me, he embraced me and then began to weep openly. I said, "O Messenger of Allah, what makes you weep?" He replied, "Feelings of resentment in the hearts of some people that they will not reveal to you except after my death." I said, "O Messenger of Allah, will I be in safety regarding my religion?" He said, "You will be in safety regarding your religion." And al-Bazzar said: Amr ibn Ali and Muhammad ibn Mu'mar both said: Harmi ibn Imarah narrated to us this, stating that he does not narrate from the Prophet except with this chain of narration, nor did anything come from Abu Uthman from Ali other than this. Al-Hakim authenticated it.
