4717 - Abu Bakr ibn Ishaq narrated to us, saying: Ubayd ibn Hatim al-Hafiz narrated to us, saying: Muhammad ibn Hatim al-Mu'allim narrated to us, saying: Saif ibn Muhammad narrated to us, saying: Sufyan al-Thawri narrated to us from Salmah ibn Kuhayl, from Abu Sadiq, from al-Agharr from Salman (ra), who said: The Messenger of Allah (peace be upon him and his holy progeny) said: "The first of you to arrive at the Pond will be the first of you to embrace Islam, Ali ibn Abi Talib."

14772 - Abu Sa'id narrated that the Messenger of Allah (pbuh) said: "O Ali, you will have a staff from the staffs of Paradise with you on the Day of Resurrection, with which you will fend off the hypocrites from my cistern." Al-Tabarani narrated this in al-Awsat, and in it, there is Salam ibn Sulayman al-Mada'ini and Zayd al-A'mi, both of whom are weak, although they were trusted. The rest of their narrators are trustworthy.

And Abu Dawud al-Tayalisi narrated, saying: Abu Iwanah narrated to us, from Abu Balj, from Amr ibn Maymun.
