The will of the Prophet (sawa) to Imam Ali a.s. concerning peace

Hadith No: 1
Al-Bukhari - Al-Tarikh al-Kabir - Chapter on the Letter Alif - 1412: Iyās ibn ʿAmr, al-Aslamī

1412 - Iyās ibn ʿAmr al-Aslamī narrated from Ali ibn Abi Talib, who said: The Prophet (peace be upon him and his holy progeny) said to me: "There will be differences or a matter [of discord], so if you can be the peace, then do so." Muhammad ibn Abi Bakr told me this, from Fudhayl ibn Sulayman, from Muhammad ibn Abi Yahya, from Iyās.

If you are able to be the one who is peace, then do so."

26657 - Hussein ibn Muhammad narrated to us, who said: Al-Fudayl, meaning Ibn Sulayman, narrated to us, who said: Muhammad ibn Abi Yahya narrated to us, from Abi Asma' Mawla Bani Ja'far, from Abu Rafi': that the Messenger of Allah (peace be upon him and his holy progeny) said to Ali ibn Abi Talib: "There will be an incident between you and Aisha." He said, "Am I, O Messenger of Allah?" He said, "Yes." He said, "I?" He said, "Yes." He said, "Then I am the most wretched of them, O Messenger of Allah?" He said, "No, but when that happens, return her to her safe place."

12023 - And Ali ibn Abi Talib said: The Messenger of Allah (peace be upon him and his holy progeny) said: "There will be اختلاف (disagreements) and أمر (conflict) after me, so if you can be the one who brings peace (silm), then do so." Abdullah narrated it, and his men are trustworthy.

He said, "Am I, O Messenger of Allah?" He said, "Yes." He replied, "Am I the most unfortunate of them, O Messenger of Allah?" He said, "No, but when that happens, return her to her place of safety." Ahmad, al-Bazzar, and al-Tabarani narrated this, and its men are trustworthy.

995 - Zakariya ibn Yahya al-Saji narrated to us, saying: al-Hasan ibn Qaz'a narrated to us, saying: al-Fudail ibn Sulayman narrated to us from Muhammad ibn Abi Yahya al-Aslami from Abu Asma' Mawla Alul Ja'far from Abu Rafi' who said: The Messenger of Allah (peace be upon him and his holy progeny) said to Ali (may Allah be pleased with him): "There will be an affair between you and Aisha (may Allah be pleased with her)." Ali (may Allah be pleased with him) replied: "Am I, O Messenger of Allah?" He said: "Yes." Ali (may Allah be pleased with him) then asked: "Will it be I among my companions?" The Prophet (peace be upon him and his holy progeny) answered: "Yes." Ali (may Allah be pleased with him) continued: "Then I will be the most unfortunate of them?" The Prophet (peace be upon him and his holy progeny) replied: "No, but when that happens, return her to her place of safety."

3881 - Al-Hasan ibn Qaz'ah narrated to us, saying: Al-Fudayl ibn Suleiman narrated to us, saying: Muhammad ibn Abi Yahya al-Aslami narrated to us from Abi Asma, the Mawla of the family of Ja'far, from Abi Rafiq (may Allah be pleased with him), who said: The Messenger of Allah (peace be upon him and his holy progeny) said to Ali: "There will be something between you and Aisha." He said: "O Messenger of Allah, me?" He replied: "Yes." He said: "Me, from among my companions?" He said: "Yes." He asked: "Then am I the most miserable of them?" The Messenger of Allah (peace be upon him and his holy progeny) said: "No." Ali said: "If that is the case, then return her to her place of safety."

What has been narrated from the Messenger of Allah (peace be upon him and his holy progeny) concerning his statement to his wives: "Which of you will be the companion of the adorned camel?" and his words to Ali: "There will be something between you and Aisha, and when that happens, convey to her a place of safety."

5612 - And he mentioned what has been narrated to us: Ibn Abi Dawud narrated to us, saying: al-Muqaddami narrated to us, saying: al-Fudayl ibn Sulayman al-Numayri narrated to us, saying: Muhammad ibn Abi Yahya narrated to us, from Abu Asmar, from Abu Ja'far from Abu Rafi that the Messenger of Allah (peace be upon him and his holy progeny) said to Ali: "There will be something between you and Aisha." He said: "Am I, O Messenger of Allah?" He replied: "Yes." He asked: "Am I to be among my companions?" He answered: "Yes." He then said: "So will I be the most wretched of them, O Messenger of Allah?" He replied: "No. When that happens, convey to her a place of safety." Thus, Ibn Abi Dawud narrated this hadith, stating that it was from Abu Asmar, from Abu Ja'far, from Abu Rafi.

31213 - "There will be an issue between you and Aisha," he said to Ali. Ali asked, "Should I, O Messenger of Allah?" He replied, "Yes." Ali said, "I?" He said, "Yes." Ali then asked, "Am I the one who causes her distress, O Messenger of Allah?" He replied, "No, but when that happens, return her to her place of safety."
