Muhammad ibn al-Husayn ibn Hafs narrated to us, saying: Isma'il ibn Musa narrated to us, from Zafer, from Isra'il, from Abdullah ibn Sharīk, from al-Harith ibn Tha'laba from Sa'd ibn Malik, who said: "The Messenger of Allah (peace be upon him) closed off doors that were opening into the mosque and left the door of Ali."

Al-Qasim ibn Zakariyya narrated to us, saying: Muhammad ibn Humayd narrated to us, saying: Ibrahim ibn al-Mukhtar narrated to us, saying: Shu'bah narrated to us from Abu Balj, from Amr ibn Maymun from Ibn Abbas that the Prophet (peace be upon him and his holy progeny) ordered the doors to be closed except for Ali's door.
