Al-Qunduzi - Yanabi' al-Mawaddah Lidhawi al-Qurba

- .... Hadith eleven narrated from Zayd ibn Arqam (may he be pleased with him) who said: The Messenger of Allah (peace be upon him and his holy progeny) said on a certain day: "Close all these doors except for Ali's door." He spoke about this, and the Messenger of Allah (peace be upon him and his holy progeny) stood up, praised Allah, and thanked Him
then said: "As for what comes next: I was commanded to close these doors, excluding Ali's door," and one of you will speak about it. By Allah, I did not close anything or open it, but I was commanded regarding something." This was narrated by Imam Ahmad in his Musnad, and in Ibn Abbas's narration: "But Allah closed your doors."
