- Abu Sa'd Abdul Malik ibn Abi Uthman al-Zahid, may Allah have mercy on him, narrated to us, saying: Hamed ibn Muhammad al-Harawi narrated to me, saying: Ali ibn Abdul Aziz narrated to us, saying: Abu Na'im narrated to us, saying: Fitr ibn Khalifah narrated to us, from Habib ibn Abi Thabit, from Abu al-Tufayl from Ali ibn Abi Talib from the Prophet (peace be upon him and his holy progeny) that he said: "If only one day remained of this world, Allah would prolong that day until He sends a man from my people, whose name coincides with my name," and whose father's name is the name of my father.

- And Abu Abd al-Rahman al-Sulami and Abu Nasr Umar ibn Abd al-Aziz ibn Qatadah informed us, saying: Yahya ibn Mansur al-Qadi narrated to us, Ali ibn Abd al-Aziz narrated to us, Abu Na'im narrated to us, Fitr narrated to us from al-Qasim ibn Abi Bazzah from Abu al-Tufayl from Ali ibn Abi Talib from the Prophet (peace be upon him and his holy progeny), who said: "If only one day of the world remained, Allah would send a man from my Ahl al-Bayt who would fill it with justice as it has been filled with injustice."

- He said: Fitr narrated to us from Habib ibn Abi Thabit, from Abi al-Tufail from Ali (may Allah be pleased with him), who said that Fitr mentioned he saw it from the Prophet (peace be upon him and his holy progeny): "If there were only one day left in the world, Allah would prolong that day until He sends a man from my family who will fill it with justice as it has been filled with ظلم (injustice)." And it was narrated by Asim ibn Abi an-Najud from Zur ibn Hubayish, from Abdullah ibn Mas'ud, from the Prophet (peace be upon him and his holy progeny), mentioning that his name would match my name and his father's name would match my father's name.
