37705 - Musnad Shaddad ibn al-Had Dhi Rasulullah (peace be upon him and his holy progeny) was called for prayer and he emerged carrying Hasan or Husayn. He placed him beside him and then prostrated in the midst of his prayer, prolonging the prostration. I lifted my head from among the people, and there was the boy on the back of Rasulullah (peace be upon him and his holy progeny). I lowered my head again and prostrated. When Rasulullah (peace be upon him and his holy progeny) completed the prayer, the people said to him: "O Messenger of Allah, you performed a prostration in this prayer that you had not done before."
He replied: "No, it was not that, but my son mounted me, and I did not want to rush him until he fulfilled his need." 37706 - Also: From Abdullah ibn Shaddad, from his father, who said: Rasulullah (peace be upon him and his holy progeny) appeared before us in one of the afternoon prayers, or during dhuhur or asr, carrying Hasan or Husayn. The Prophet (peace be upon him and his holy progeny) advanced, placed him down, and then said Takbir to begin the prayer. He then prostrated between the two units of his prayer, prolonging the prostration. I lifted my head, and there was the boy on the back of Rasulullah (peace be upon him and his holy progeny), while he was in prostration. I returned to my prostration. When Rasulullah (peace be upon him and his holy progeny) completed the prayer, the people said: "O Messenger of Allah, you prostrated between the two units of your prayer, prolonging it, until we thought that something had happened and that it was being revealed to you."
He said: "None of that was the case, but my son mounted me, and I did not want to rush him until he fulfilled his need."
