193 - Al-Husayn ibn Mansur narrated to us, who said: Al-Husayn ibn Muhammad Abu Ahmad narrated to us, who said: Isra'il ibn Yunus narrated to us from Mayṣarah ibn Habib, from al-Minhāl ibn ʿAmr, from Zirr ibn Hubaysh, from Hudhayfah ibn al-Yaman, who said: My mother asked me, "Since when have you had an acquaintance with the Prophet (peace be upon him and his holy progeny)?" I replied, "Since such and such time." She then mistreated me and cursed me. I said to her, "Leave me alone, for I will go to the Prophet (peace be upon him and his holy progeny) and pray the Maghrib prayer with him, and I will not leave him until he asks forgiveness for me and you." So I prayed the Maghrib prayer with him, and he continued to pray until the ʿIsha' prayer. Then he turned away and I followed him. An event occurred that caused him to pause, and he took hold of it and then departed. I followed him and heard my voice. He said, "Who is this?" I replied, "Hudhayfah." He said, "What is the matter with you?" I informed him of the situation, and he said, "May God forgive you and your mother. Did you not see the event that occurred to me earlier?" I said, "Yes."
He said, "It is an angel from the angels who has never descended to Earth before this night. He asked permission from his Lord to greet me with peace and to inform me that Hasan and Husayn are the masters of the youths of the people of Paradise," and that Fatimah is the mistress of the women of the people of Paradise.
