Al-Hasan and Al-Husayn are the masters of the youth of the inhabitants of Paradise, narrated by Al-Tirmidhi from Abu Sa'id al-Khudri, who attributed it as a hadith to the Prophet (peace be upon him and his holy progeny) and said: It is Hasan Sahih (good and authentic), and it is also found in Ahmad's works. Ibn Hibban and Al-Hakim deemed it authentic, and there is an additional note in it, except for the two sons of the cousins, 'Isa and Yahya. This hadith was narrated by Suwayd ibn Sa'id from Abu Mu'awiya from Abu Sa'id al-Khudri (may Allah be pleased with him), but Ibn Ma'in said it is false from Abu Mu'awiya. Al-Daraqutni said, "We continued to think it was as Ibn Ma'in said until I entered Egypt in the year fifty-seven and found the hadith in the Musnad of Ishaq ibn Ibrahim al-Munqitqi, who was trustworthy." Ibn Abi Kuraib narrated it from Abu Mu'awiya as Suwayd said. Ibn Majah and Al-Hakim narrated from Ibn Umar (may Allah be pleased with him) that he said, with an addition,
"and their father is better than them." Al-Hakim also deemed this version authentic.
