- Abu Bakr Muhammad ibn Abd al-Baqi narrated to us, saying: Abu al-Hasan Ali ibn Ibrahim ibn Isa al-Baqilani narrated to me while I was present, and Abu Bakr Muhammad ibn Isma'il ibn al-Abbas narrated to us by dictation, saying: Abu Bakr Muhammad ibn Muhammad ibn Sulayman al-Wasiti narrated to us by dictation in the year 305, and al-Musayyib ibn Wadih narrated to us, and Ata ibn Muslim al-Khaffaf, Abu Muhammad al-Halabi, narrated to us from Abu Umro al-Ashja'i, from Salim ibn Abi al-Jad, from Qays ibn Abi Hazim, from Hudhayfa ibn al-Yaman, who said: "I spent the night with the Messenger of Allah (peace be upon him and his holy progeny), and I saw someone there. The Prophet (peace be upon him and his holy progeny) said to me, 'Did you see him?' I replied, 'Yes.' He said, 'Then an angel has descended from heaven to me, which did not descend to me except on this night, to give me the glad tidings that Al-Hasan and Al-Husayn are the masters of the youth of the people of Paradise.' And they told us that he (peace be upon him and his holy progeny) said, 'And their father is better than them.'"
- Abu al-Qasim al-Shahhami narrated to us, saying: Abu Sa'd al-Janzarudi narrated to me, and al-Hakim Abu Ahmad narrated to me, and Abu Ali al-Hasan ibn Ahmad al-Sukuni narrated to me in Homs, and Musayyib, son of Wadih, narrated to me, and Ata ibn Muslim al-Khaffaf narrated to us, and Abu Umar al-Ashja'i narrated to us from Salim ibn Abi al-Jad, from Qays ibn Abi Hazim, from Hudhayfa ibn al-Yaman, who said: "I was with the Messenger of Allah (peace be upon him and his holy progeny), and I saw someone with him. He said to me, 'O Hudhayfa, did you see him?' I replied, 'Yes, O Messenger of Allah.' He said, 'This is an angel who has not descended since I was sent. He came to me tonight and gave me the glad tidings that Al-Hasan and Al-Husayn are the masters of the youth of the people of Paradise.' Ata added: And they told us that he (peace be upon him and his holy progeny) said, 'And their father is better than them.'"

- And I: Abu al-Qasim, and I: Abu al-Qasim, and I: Abu Ahmad ibn Adi, and I: Abdullah ibn Ibrahim al-Qasri, and Muhammad ibn Harun ibn Humaid said: My teacher, al-Hasan ibn Ali al-Halwani, narrated to us, from Ma'li ibn Abd al-Rahman, from Ibn Abi Dhi'b, from Nafai from Ibn Umar, who said: The Messenger of Allah (peace be upon him and his holy progeny) said, "Al-Hasan and al-Husayn are the masters of the youth of the people of Paradise, and their father is better than them."

- And Abu al-Qasim Isma'il ibn Ahmad narrated to us: Ahmad ibn Muhammad ibn al-Naqur narrated to us: Abu al-Qasim Isa ibn Ali ibn Isa al-Waziri narrated to us: Abu al-Qasim Abdullah ibn Muhammad narrated to us: Muhammad ibn Miskab narrated to us: Imran ibn Aban narrated to us: Malik ibn al-Hasan ibn Malik ibn al-Huwayrith told me that my father narrated to him from my grandfather, who said: The Messenger of Allah (peace be upon him and his holy progeny) said, "Al-Hasan and al-Husayn are the masters of the youth of the people of Paradise, and their father is better than them." Al-Baghawi said: This hadith was not narrated from Malik ibn al-Huwayrith except through this route, and Malik ibn al-Hasan is not well-known.

- Abu al-A'zz Qiratkin ibn al-As'ad informed us, saying: Abu Muhammad al-Jahiri narrated to me, saying: Abu Hafs ibn Shahin narrated to us, and he wrote nothing except from him, saying: Abbas ibn Muhammad ibn Hatim narrated to us, saying: al-Haytham ibn Khargah narrated to us, from Abdul Rahman ibn Amir Abu al-Aswad al-Hashimi, from Asim ibn Abi al-Najud, from Zur ibn Hubaysh, from Hudhayfah, who said: "We saw joy on the face of the Messenger of Allah (peace be upon him and his holy progeny) one day, and we said, 'O Messenger of Allah, we have seen signs of joy on your face today.' He replied, 'What reason do I have not to be joyful, when Gabriel (peace be upon him) has come to me and given me the glad tidings that Hasan and Husayn are the masters of the youth of the people of Paradise, and their father is better than them.'"

- Abu al-Aswad Abdullah ibn Amer, the freedman of Banu Hashim, narrated it from Asim, from Zur, from Hudhayfa, summarizing what Imam Amir al-Mu'minin (peace be upon him) narrated in commending his two sons from the Messenger of Allah (peace be upon him and his holy progeny), saying: "Hasan and Husayn are the masters of the youth of the inhabitants of Paradise, and their father is better than them."

- His (peace be upon him and his holy progeny) statement: "Hasan and Husayn are the masters of the youth of the inhabitants of Paradise, and their father is better than them," narrated by Abdullah ibn Umar, from Nafi, from Abdullah ibn Umar, who said: "The Prophet (peace be upon him and his holy progeny) said: 'These two sons of mine are the masters of the youth of the inhabitants of Paradise, and their father is better than them.'"

Al-Dhahabi said: The narration is authentic, and Ibn Umar and Ibn Mas'ud did not mention the words "except the sons of the two cousins."

- Abu al-Az Quratiqin ibn al-As'ad narrated to us, saying: Abu Muhammad al-Jawhari narrated to us, saying: Abu Hafs ibn Shahin narrated to us, and he only narrated to us from his father: Abbas ibn Muhammad ibn Hatim narrated to us, from al-Haytham ibn Khwajjah, who narrated to us from Abdul-Rahman ibn Amir Abu al-Aswad al-Hashimi, from Asim ibn Abi Najud, from Zur ibn Habish, from Hudhayfah, who said: We saw one day indications of joy on the face of the Messenger of Allah (peace be upon him and his holy progeny), so we said: O Messenger of Allah, we have seen today indications of joy on your face. He said: "How can I not be joyful, when Gabriel (peace be upon him) has come to me and given me the glad tidings that al-Hasan and al-Husayn are the masters of the youth of the inhabitants of Paradise, and their father is better than them?"
