4451 - Abu Bakr Ahmad ibn Muhammad al-Maruzi narrated to us several times, saying: Abd al-Samad ibn al-Fadl al-Balkhi narrated to us, saying: Makki ibn Ibrahim narrated to us, saying: Dawud ibn Yazid al-Audi narrated to us, who said: I heard al-Sha'bi say: By Allah, the Messenger of Allah (peace be upon him and his holy progeny) was indeed poisoned, and Abu Bakr al-Siddiq was poisoned, and Umar ibn al-Khattab was killed by strangulation, and Uthman ibn Affan was killed by strangulation, and Ali ibn Abi Talib was killed by strangulation and al-Hasan ibn Ali was poisoned, and Hussain ibn Ali was killed by strangulation (may peace be upon them). So what do we hope for after them?

4468 - Abu Bakr ibn Muhammad al-Sayrafi narrated to me in Merv, saying: Abd al-Samad ibn al-Fadl narrated to us, saying: Makki ibn Ibrahim narrated to us, saying: al-Sari ibn Isma'il narrated to us, from al-Shu'bi, who said: What can be expected from this lowly world, when the Messenger of Allah (peace be upon him and his holy progeny) was poisoned, and Abu Bakr al-Siddiq was poisoned, and Umar ibn al-Khattab was killed by his own hand, and likewise, Uthman and Ali were killed, and al-Hasan was poisoned, and al-Husayn was killed by his own hand.

4857 - Abu Abd Allah al-Isbahani narrated to us, saying: al-Hasan ibn al-Jahm narrated to us, saying: al-Husayn ibn al-Farj narrated to us, saying: Muhammad ibn Umar narrated to me, from Abdullah ibn Ja'far from Um Bakr bint al-Miswar, who said: Al-Hasan ibn Ali was poisoned on several occasions, each time he would recover, until the last time he was poisoned, which led to his death. He would suffer from abdominal pain, and when he died, the women of Banu Hashim mourned him for a month....

4869 - Ali ibn Isa narrated to us, saying: Al-Husayn ibn Muhammad ibn Ziyad narrated to us, saying: Al-Fadl ibn Ghassan al-Ansari narrated to us, saying: Mu'adh ibn Mu'adh and Ashhal ibn Hatim narrated to us from Ibn Aun from Umayr ibn Ishaq, that al-Hasan ibn Ali said: "Indeed, a portion of my liver has been moistened, and I have been given poison to drink multiple times, but I have not been given anything like this."
