15076 - And from Abu Huraira who said: We were praying the Isha' prayer with the Messenger of Allah (peace be upon him and his holy progeny) when he prostrated, and Al-Hasan and Al-Husayn jumped onto his back. When he raised his head, he would take them from behind, holding them gently, and place them on his back. When he returned to prostration, they would return until he completed his prayer, then he would seat them on his thighs. Then I stood up to him and said: O Messenger of Allah, should I not return them? A light flashed, and he said to them, "Join your mother." He continued to glow until they entered with their mother. Ahmad and al-Bazzar narrated it briefly and said: It was on a dark night, and the men of Ahmad are trustworthy.

He would, whenever he raised his head, gesture with his hand to hold them or hold one of them, and say: "What a fine mount you have, your mount is indeed excellent." This was related by al-Tabarani in al-Awsat, and its chain is حسن (hasan - good).

37688 - We were also around the Prophet (peace be upon him and his holy progeny) whenUm Aymaan came and said: "O Messenger of Allah, Hasan and Husayn have gone astray!" That was in the afternoon, he was saying, "at noon." The Messenger of Allah (peace be upon him and his holy progeny) said: "Stand up and look for my sons." Each man took off in the direction he was facing, and I went towards the Prophet (peace be upon him and his holy progeny). They did not stop until they reached the foot of a mountain, and there were Hasan and Husayn, each clinging to the other, and a lion was standing over them, its mouth emitting something like fire. The Messenger of Allah (peace be upon him and his holy progeny) rushed to them, and the lion turned, addressing the Messenger of Allah (peace be upon him and his holy progeny), then it transformed into a man and entered some rocks. Then he came back to them, separated them, and wiped their faces, saying: "Woe to me and my mother for you two! How honored you are in the sight of Allah." Then he lifted one of them onto his right shoulder and the other onto his left shoulder. I said: "Blessed are you two! What excellent mounts you have." The Messenger of Allah (peace be upon him and his holy progeny) replied: "And what excellent riders they are." And their father is better than them.

37705 - Musnad Shaddad ibn al-Had: The Messenger of Allah (peace be upon him and his holy progeny) was invited to a prayer and came out carrying Hasan or Husayn. He placed him beside him and during the course of his prayer, he prostrated in a sajdah (prostration) that he prolonged. I raised my head from among the people, and behold, the boy was on the back of the Messenger of Allah (peace be upon him and his holy progeny). I lowered my head again and prostrated. When the Messenger of Allah (peace be upon him and his holy progeny) gave the salam, the people said to him: "O Messenger of Allah, you performed a sajdah in this prayer that you had not been accustomed to." It was as if it was being revealed to you. He said: "No, but my son settled on me, and I did not want to rush him until he fulfilled his need."
37706 - Also: From Abdullah ibn Shaddad, from his father, who said: The Messenger of Allah (peace be upon him and his holy progeny) came out to us in one of the afternoon prayers, or the noon prayer, or the afternoon prayer, carrying Hasan or Husayn. The Prophet (peace be upon him and his holy progeny) stepped forward, placed him down, and then called in prayer. He prostrated between the two units of his prayer in a sajdah that he prolonged. I raised my head, and the boy was on the back of the Messenger of Allah (peace be upon him and his holy progeny) while he was in prostration. I returned to my prostration. When the Messenger of Allah (peace be upon him and his holy progeny) completed the prayer, the people said: "O Messenger of Allah, you prolonged a sajdah between the two units of your prayer until we thought that something had happened and that it was being revealed to you." He replied: "All of that was not the case, but my son settled on me, and I did not want to rush him until he fulfilled his need."
37709 - Abu Huraira said: The Messenger of Allah (peace be upon him and his holy progeny) was praying the evening prayer, and Hasan and Husayn were jumping on his back. When he finished the prayer, Abu Huraira said: "O Messenger of Allah, shall I take them to their mother?" The Messenger of Allah (peace be upon him and his holy progeny) replied: "No." Then a flash of light appeared, and they remained in its glow until they entered their mother's arms.

37710 - Narrated from Abu Huraira who said: We were with the Messenger of Allah (peace be upon him and his holy progeny) in the Isha prayer, and whenever he prostrated, Hasan and Husayn would climb on his back. When he lifted his head, he would do so gently, and then when he prostrated again, they would return. When he finished his prayer, he seated them in his lap. I said, "O Messenger of Allah, should I not take them to their mother?" A flash of light appeared, and they remained in its glow until they entered their mother’s presence.
