22818 - Al-Husayn ibn Muhammad narrated to us, who said: Israel narrated to us, from Maysarah ibn Habib, from al-Munhal ibn Amr, from Zur ibn Hubaysh, from Hudhayfah, who said: My mother asked me, "Since when have you known the Prophet (peace be upon him)?" I replied, "For so and so long." Then she struck me and cursed me. I said to her, "Leave me, for I will go to the Prophet (peace be upon him) and pray with him the Maghrib prayer, and then I will not leave him until he asks forgiveness for me and you." So I went to the Prophet (peace be upon him) and prayed the Maghrib prayer with him. The Prophet (peace be upon him) then prayed the Isha prayer and afterward turned and followed me. Then an obstacle presented itself to him, and he conversed with it in quiet prayer, and it then disappeared. I followed him and heard my voice, and he said, "Who is this?" I replied, "Hudhayfah." He said, "What is wrong with you?" I explained the situation to him, and he said, "May Allah forgive you and your mother." Then he said, "Did you not see the obstacle that presented itself to me earlier?" I said, "Yes." He said, "It was an angel who had not descended to Earth before this night
who asked his Lord for permission to greet me and give me the glad tidings that al-Hasan and al-Husayn are the leaders of the youth of the people of Paradise, and that Fatimah is the leader of the women of the people of Paradise." (R)
