131 - Abu Bakr Muhammad ibn Abd al-Baqi narrated to us, saying: Abu al-Hasan Ali ibn Ibrahim ibn Isa al-Baqalani narrated to us during a session in which I was present, saying: Abu Bakr Muhammad ibn Isma'il ibn al-Abbas narrated to us by dictation, saying: Abu Bakr Muhammad ibn Muhammad ibn Sulayman al-Wasiti narrated to us by dictation in the year 305, saying: Al-Musayyib ibn Wadi'h narrated to us, saying: Ata ibn Muslim al-Khafaf Abu Muhammad al-Halabi narrated to us, from Abu Amr al-Ashja'i, from Salim ibn Abi al-Jad, from Qays ibn Abi Hazim, from Hudhayfa ibn al-Yaman, who said: "I stayed overnight at the Prophet Muhammad (peace be upon him and his holy progeny), and I saw a figure. The Prophet (peace be upon him and his holy progeny) said to me, 'Did you see him?' I replied, 'Yes.'
He said, 'Indeed, an angel has descended from heaven to me, who has not descended to me except on this night, to give me the glad tidings that Hasan and Husayn are the masters of the youth of the people of Paradise.' Ata ibn Muslim said: And they told us that he (peace be upon him and his holy progeny) said, 'And their father is better than them.'"132 - Abu al-Qasim al-Shahhami narrated to us, saying: Abu Sa'd al-Janzarudi narrated to us, saying: al-Hakim Abu Ahmad narrated to us, saying: Abu Ali al-Hasan ibn Ahmad al-Sukuni narrated to us in Homs, saying: Musayyib - meaning ibn Wadi'h - narrated to us, saying: Ata ibn Muslim al-Khafaf narrated to us, from Abu Umar al-Ashja'i, from Salim ibn Abi al-Jad, from Qays ibn Abi Hazim, from Hudhayfa ibn al-Yaman, who said: "I was with the Messenger of Allah (peace be upon him and his holy progeny) and saw a figure with him. He said to me, 'O Hudhayfa, do you see?' I replied, 'Yes, O Messenger of Allah.'
He said, 'This is an angel who has not descended since I was sent. He has come to me tonight to give me the glad tidings that Hasan and Husayn are the masters of the youth of the people of Paradise.'" Ata said: And they told us he said, "And their father is better than them."
- This was narrated by Abu al-Aswad Abdullah ibn Amir, a client of Banu Hashim, from Asim, from Zur,
from Hudhayfa, in a summary of what Imam Amir al-Mu'minin (peace be upon him) narrated in the commendation of his two sons from the Messenger of Allah (peace be upon him and his holy progeny), saying: "Hasan and Husayn are the masters of the youth of the people of Paradise, and their father is better than them."134 - Abu al-Hasan ibn Qabis narrated to us, saying: Abu Mansur ibn Zuraq narrated to us, saying: Abu Bakr al-Khatib narrated to us, saying: Muhammad ibn Ahmad ibn Rizq narrated to us, saying: Abd al-Samad ibn Ali ibn Muhammad narrated to us, saying: al-Husayn ibn Sa'id ibn al-Azhar al-Sulami narrated to me, saying: Qasim ibn Yahya ibn al-Hasan ibn Zayd ibn Ali narrated to us, from Abu Hafs al-A'sha, from Aban ibn Taghlib, from Abu Ja'far, from Ali ibn al-Husayn, from Husayn ibn Ali,
from Ali, who said: "The Messenger of Allah (peace be upon him and his holy progeny) said, 'Hasan and Husayn are the masters of the youth of the people of Paradise, and their father is better than them.'"-
His (peace be upon him and his holy progeny) statement: "Hasan and Husayn are the masters of the youth of the people of Paradise, and their father is better than them,"
was narrated by Abdullah ibn Umar, from Nafi, from Abdullah ibn Umar, who said: The Prophet (peace be upon him and his holy progeny) said: "These two sons of mine are the masters of the youth of the people of Paradise, and their father is better than them."
