- Muhammad ibn Yusuf al-Farabri narrated to us, saying: Ali ibn Khashram narrated to us, and I heard al-Fadl ibn Musa and Waki' both say that Ata ibn Muslim was trustworthy: .... Abdān and al-Fadl ibn Abdullah ibn Makhld narrated to us, saying: al-Musayyib ibn Wadhih narrated to us, saying: Ata ibn Muslim narrated to me, from Abu Amr al-Ashja'i, from Salim ibn Abi al-Ja'd, from Qais ibn Abi Hazim, from Hudhayfah, who said: "I spent the night with the Messenger of Allah (peace be upon him and his holy progeny) and saw someone with him." He said to me, 'O Abu Hudhayfah, did you see?' I replied, 'Yes, O Messenger of Allah.'
He said, 'This is an angel who has not descended since you were sent. He came to me tonight to give me glad tidings that Hasan and Husayn are the masters of the youth of the people of Paradise.' Ata said: They narrated to us that he said, 'And their father is better than them.'"
