- Muhammad ibn Yusuf al-Farabri narrated to us, saying: Ali ibn Khashram narrated to us, and I heard al-Fadl ibn Musa and Waki' both say that Ata ibn Muslim was trustworthy: .... Abdān and al-Fadl ibn Abdullah ibn Makhld narrated to us, saying: al-Musayyib ibn Wadhih narrated to us, saying: Ata ibn Muslim narrated to me, from Abu Amr al-Ashja'i, from Salim ibn Abi al-Ja'd, from Qais ibn Abi Hazim, from Hudhayfah, who said: "I spent the night with the Messenger of Allah (peace be upon him and his holy progeny) and saw someone with him." He said to me, 'O Abu Hudhayfah, did you see?' I replied, 'Yes, O Messenger of Allah.' He said, 'This is an angel who has not descended since you were sent. He came to me tonight to give me glad tidings that Hasan and Husayn are the masters of the youth of the people of Paradise.' Ata said: They narrated to us that he said, 'And their father is better than them.'"

- Ibn Sa'id narrated to us, saying: Khalaf ibn Muhammad al-Wasiti narrated to us, saying: Ma'li ibn Abd al-Rahman al-Wasiti narrated to us, who said that Ibn Sa'id was praising al-Duqiqi. Abdullah ibn Ibrahim al-Qasri and Muhammad ibn Harun ibn Humayd narrated to us, saying: al-Hasan ibn Ali al-Halwani narrated to us, from Ma'li ibn Abd al-Rahman, from Ibn Abi Ziyab, from Nafiu from Ibn Umar, who said: The Messenger of Allah (peace be upon him and his holy progeny) said, "Al-Hasan and al-Husayn are the masters of the youths of the People of Paradise, and their father is better than them."

Ibn Urawba said: Zakariya ibn al-Hakam and Yahya ibn al-Hasan al-Abli narrated to us, both said: Imran ibn Aban narrated to us from Malik ibn al-Hasan ibn Malik ibn al-Huwairth, from his father, from his grandfather, that the Prophet (peace be upon him and his holy progeny) said: "Al-Hasan and al-Husayn are the youth of the people of Paradise, and their father is better than them." These hadiths with this chain from Malik ibn al-Hasan cannot be narrated by anyone except Imran ibn Aban al-Wasiti, and Imran ibn Aban is not objectionable. I believe that the trial lies with Malik ibn al-Hasan, as no one can corroborate this chain with this hadith.
