When I saw him, there was an angelic presence that had appeared before him, and he said to me: O Hudhayfah, did you see the presence that appeared before me? I said: Yes. He said: That is an angel from among the angels who sought permission from his Lord to greet me and to give me glad tidings of Hasan and Husayn, that they are the masters of the youth of the people of Paradise, and that Fatimah is the mistress of the women of the people of Paradise. This was the narration of Abu Abdullah al-Hafiz, and I have recorded it in the Book of Virtues in its entirety. Ibn Qutada added: The angel did not descend to Earth before him, referring to the angel. And we narrated in the story of the Confederates (Ahzab) that Hudhayfah saw a group of angels on the night in which the Messenger of Allah (peace be upon him and his holy progeny) sent him, as a vanguard.

- Ibn Sa'd and al-Hakim narrated from Hudhayfah (peace be upon him): that the Messenger of Allah (peace be upon him and his holy progeny) said: "Gabriel came to me and gave me the glad tidings that al-Hasan and al-Husayn are the leaders of the youths of Paradise."

- Ibn Asakir narrated from him that the Messenger of Allah (peace be upon him and his holy progeny) said: "An angel came to me and greeted me, having descended from the heavens in a way he had not before, and he gave me the glad tidings that al-Hasan and al-Husayn are the leaders of the youths of Paradise," and that Fatimah is the Lady of the Women of Paradise. Imam Ahmad and Ibn Asakir narrated from Ali ibn Abi Talib, al-Ruyani in his Musnad, Ibn Mundih,

- Ibn Qanir, Abu Na'im, and Ibn Asakir narrated from Jahm, and Imam Ahmad from Abu Sa'id (peace be upon him): that the Messenger of Allah (peace be upon him and his holy progeny) said: "al-Hasan and al-Husayn are the leaders of the youths of Paradise," except for the sons of the two maternal aunts, Isa ibn Maryam and Yahya ibn Zakariya.

- In one narration: al-Hasan and al-Husayn, the sons of Ali, entered the mosque, and Jabir ibn Abd Allah (peace be upon him) said: "Whoever wants to see the leaders of the youths of Paradise should look at these two. I heard this from the Messenger of Allah (peace be upon him and his holy progeny)."

- Ibn Asakir narrated from Ibn Umar and Ali (peace be upon them): that the Messenger of Allah (peace be upon him and his holy progeny) said: "These two sons of mine, al-Hasan and al-Husayn, are the leaders of the youths of Paradise, and their father is better than them."
- Al-Tabarani narrated in al-Kabir and Abu Na'im in Fada'il al-Sahabah from Ali (peace be upon him): that the Messenger of Allah (peace be upon him and his holy progeny) said to Fatimah: "There is no prophet except that he has offspring of prophets, except me, and your two sons are the leaders of the youths of Paradise," except for the sons of the two maternal aunts, Yahya and Isa.

- Al-Tabarani narrated in al-Kabir from Hudhayfah (peace be upon him) who said: "I stayed overnight with the Messenger of Allah (peace be upon him and his holy progeny) and saw someone with him, and he said to me: 'O Hudhayfah, did you see?' I said: 'Yes.' He said: "This is an angel who has not descended since I was sent. He came to me tonight and gave me the glad tidings that al-Hasan and al-Husayn are the leaders of the youths of Paradise."

- And from Hudhayfah, it is also reported: "We saw happiness on the face of the Messenger of Allah (peace be upon him and his holy progeny) one day, and we said: 'O Messenger of Allah, we have seen signs of happiness on your face.' The Messenger of Allah (peace be upon him and his holy progeny) replied: 'How could I not be happy when Gabriel came to me and gave me the glad tidings that Hasan and Husayn are the leaders of the youths of Paradise, and their father is better than them?'"

- Al-Tirmidhi narrated and said it is حسن صحيح (good and authentic) from Abu Sa'id al-Khudri (peace be upon him) who said: "The Messenger of Allah (peace be upon him and his holy progeny) said: 'al-Hasan and al-Husayn are the leaders of the youths of Paradise.'"

- Al-Tirmidhi and al-Na'sai narrated from Hudhayfah that his mother (peace be upon her) sent him to ask the Messenger of Allah (peace be upon him and his holy progeny) to seek forgiveness for her. So he prayed with him the maghrib prayer and continued praying until he prayed the isha prayer, then the Messenger of Allah (peace be upon him and his holy progeny) turned (to leave), and he followed him. He heard his voice and said: "Who is this?" Hudhayfah replied: "Yes." He said: "What is your need? May God forgive you and your mother. This is an angel who has not descended to earth at all before this night. He requested permission from his Lord, the Almighty, to greet me and give me the glad tidings that Fatimah is the Lady of the Women of Paradise and that al-Hasan and al-Husayn are the leaders of the youths of Paradise," and this has been narrated from the hadith of Ali ibn Abi Talib, al-Hasan himself, Umar, his son Abdullah, Abdullah ibn Mas'ud, and others.
