Hadith No: 1
Ahmad ibn Hanbal - Fada'il al-Sahabah - And among the virtues of Ali (peace be upon him)
And among the virtues of Ali (may Allah be pleased with him) from the narration of Abu Bakr ibn Malik through his teachers, except for Abdullah

1154 - Ahmad ibn Isra'il narrated to us, who said: I saw in the book of Ahmad ibn Muhammad ibn Hanbal, may Allah have mercy on him, in his own handwriting: Uswad ibn Amir, Abu Abd al-Rahman, narrated to us: al-Rabi ibn Mundhir narrated to us from his father, who said: Hussein ibn Ali would say: "Whoever's eyes shed a tear for us or spills a drop for us, may Allah Almighty grant him a place in Paradise."

- .... from al-Rabi' ibn Mundhir, from his father, who said: Hussein ibn Ali (may Allah be pleased with him and his father) would say: "Whoever's eyes weep for us with a tear or two from their eyes falls under the mercy of Allah, Mighty and Majestic be He, and Allah, the Almighty, will grant him Paradise." Ahmad narrated this in al-Manaqib.

- .... from Musa ibn Ali al-Ridha ibn Ja'far, who said: Ja'far ibn Muhammad was asked about visiting the grave of Hussein. He replied: My father told me that whoever visits the grave of Hussein (peace be upon him) with knowledge of its right, Allah will write for him in Aliyyin. He also said: There are seventy thousand angels, disheveled and dusty, mourning over him around the grave of Hussein until the Day of Resurrection. This was narrated by Abu al-Hasan al-Atiqi.

He said: Al-Husayn ibn Ali would say: "Whoever sheds tears from his eyes for us or lets fall a single tear, Allah, the Almighty, will grant him a place in Paradise."

56 - And from Hussein ibn Ali (may peace be upon them) who said: "Whoever's eyes shed a tear for us, or even if his eyes release a drop for us, Allah, the Almighty, will grant him a place in Paradise." Ahmad narrated it in al-Manaqib.

Ahmad narrated this in al-Manaqib.
