2862 - Ali ibn Abd al-Aziz narrated to us, saying: Hajjaj ibn al-Minhāl narrated to us, from Hammad ibn Salamah, from Ammar ibn Abi Ammar from Umm Salamah (ra), who said: "I heard the jinn lamenting over Al-Husayn ibn Ali (ra)."

2865 - Muhammad ibn Abdullah al-Hadhrami narrated to us, who said: Suriq ibn Yunus narrated to us, who said: Umar ibn Abdul Rahman Abu Hafs al-Abar narrated to us, from Isma'il ibn Abdul Rahman al-Azdi from Abu Janab, who said: He heard jinn weeping over Al-Husayn ibn Ali ibn Abi Talib (peace be upon him):
The Messenger wiped his brow, and he had a glimmer in his cheeks.
His parents were from the exalted ones of Quraysh, and his grandfather was the best of grandfathers.

2866 - Muhammad ibn Uthman ibn Abi Shaybah narrated to us, saying: Jundal ibn Waliq narrated to us, saying: Abdullah ibn al-Tufayl narrated to us, from Abu Zayd al-Fuqayni, from Abu Janab al-Kalbi who said: The narrators of al-Jassasah told me, saying: Whenever we went out to the graveyard near the martyrdom of Al-Husayn (peace be upon him), we would hear the jinn mourning for him and saying:
The Messenger wiped his brow, so he has a gleam upon his cheeks.
His parents are from the lofty ones of Quraysh; his grandfather is the best of grandfathers.

2867 - Abdullah ibn Ahmad ibn Hanbal narrated to us, he said: Hadbah ibn Khalid narrated to us, he said: Hammad ibn Salamah narrated to us, from Ammar ibn Abi Ammar from Umm Salamah, who said: "I heard the jinn lamenting the death of Al-Husayn (peace be upon him)."

2868 - Abdullah narrated to us, saying: Ibrahim ibn al-Hajjaj narrated to us, saying: Hammad ibn Salamah narrated to us, from Ammar from Maymunah, who said: "I heard the jinn lamenting over Al-Husayn."

2869 - Qasim ibn Abbas al-Khatabi narrated to us, who said: Suwayd ibn Sa'id narrated to us, who said: Amr ibn Thabit narrated to us, that Umm Salamah said: "I did not hear the wailing of the jinn since the Prophet (peace be upon him and his holy progeny) was taken, except for tonight, and I see no one famous (in his cause) except that he has been killed," meaning Al-Husayn (peace be upon him). She then said to her maidservant, "Go out and inquire," and she was informed that he had been killed. And behold, a Jinniyyah was mourning:
"O eye, weep with all your strength,
and who will mourn the martyrs after me?
For a group that fate leads to destruction,
to one bewildered in the kingdom of a servant."
