- Abu al-Su'ud ibn al-Majli narrated to us, saying: Abd al-Muhsin ibn Muhammad verbally narrated to me, and Abu Ahmad Abdullah ibn Muhammad ibn Muhammad al-Dahhan narrated to us, saying: Abu Ja'far Ahmad ibn al-Hasan al-Bardaji narrated to us, saying: Abu Huraira Ahmad ibn Abdullah ibn Abi al-Asam al-Adwi narrated to us, saying: Ibrahim ibn Yahya ibn Ya'qub Abu al-Tahir al-Bazzar narrated to us, saying: Ibn Luqman narrated to us, saying: Al-Husayn ibn Idris narrated to us, saying: Hashim ibn Hashim narrated to us from his mother
from Umm Salamah, who said: "I heard the jinn lamenting over al-Husayn on the day he was killed, and they were saying:"O you who are unjustly killing Husayn, Rejoice in your punishment and humiliation!
All the inhabitants of heaven are calling down curses upon you, From every prophet, messenger, and martyr.
You have been cursed on the tongues of Ibn Dawud, Musa, and the companion of the Gospel.
- Abu Ali al-Haddad and a group narrated to us, saying: Abu Bakr ibn Raydhah narrated to me: Sulayman ibn Ahmad narrated to us: al-Qasim ibn Abbad al-Khitabi narrated to us: Suwayd ibn Sa'id narrated to us: Amr ibn Thabit
from Habib ibn Abi Thabit, who said: Umm Salamah said, "I did not hear the jinn lamenting since the Prophet (peace be upon him and his holy progeny) passed away except that night, and I do not see my son except that he has been killed," meaning al-Husayn. She said to her maid, "Go out and inquire." She informed her that he had been killed, and behold, a jinniyah was lamenting:
O eye, weep with all your might, And who will weep for the martyrs after me?
Over a group led by death To a domineering one in the kingdom of My servant.

from Abu Janab al-Kalbi, who said: "I came to Karbala and said to a man from the notables of the Arabs there: 'It has reached me that you hear the lamentations of the jinn.' He replied, 'I do not encounter a free person or a slave without informing you that they heard that.' I asked, 'And what did you hear?' He said: 'I heard them say:' The Messenger wiped his forehead, and thus he has a sparkle on his cheeks; His parents are from the exalted ones of Quraysh, and his grandfather is the best of grandfathers.
