6352 - Abu al-Husayn ibn al-Fadl al-Qattan informed us, saying: Abdullah ibn Ja'far narrated to us, saying: Yahya ibn Sufyan narrated to me, from Abu al-Aswad al-Nadr ibn Abd al-Jabbar, from Ibn Lahi'a from Abu Qubayl, who said: When Hussein ibn Ali (may Allah be pleased with him) was killed, the sun underwent an eclipse, and the stars appeared during the middle of the day, until we thought that it was the Day of Judgment.

Al-Walid said, 'Which of you knows what the stones of the Sacred House (Bayt al-Maqdis) did on the day Husayn ibn Ali was killed?' Al-Zuhri replied, 'I have been informed that no stone was turned except that it was found to have fresh blood beneath it.'"

- Abu al-Hasan narrated to us, saying: Abdullah narrated to us, saying: Ya'qub narrated to us, saying: Sulayman ibn Harb narrated to us that Hammad ibn Zayd narrated to him, saying: Humayd ibn Murrah narrated to me, that they captured some camels in the camp of al-Husayn on the day he was killed, and they slaughtered them and cooked them. He said that it turned into something like poison, and they could not swallow anything from it.
