Hadith No: 1
Ibn Kathir - al-Bidaya wa'l-Nihaya - Then the year 61 came - The Martyrdom of al-Husayn ibn Ali
Chapter on the Reporting of the Martyrdom of al-Husayn ibn Ali (peace be upon him) -

- .... And Ibn Asakir narrated that a group of people went on a military expedition to the lands of Rome and found written in a church:
"Do you expect a community that killed al-Husayn to receive the intercession of his grandfather on the Day of Judgment?"
So they asked them, "Who wrote this?" They replied, "This has been written here for three hundred years before the mission of your Prophet."
- And it is narrated that those who killed him returned and spent the night drinking alcohol with the head (of al-Husayn) among them, when a pen of iron appeared to them and wrote in the wall with the blood of this house:
"Do you expect a community that killed al-Husayn to receive the intercession of his grandfather on the Day of Judgment?"

Al-Humayri - Juz' Ali ibn Muhammad al-Humayri
Then the sky remained for seven days and nights, looking like a clot.

31 - Ali narrated to us, saying: My father narrated to us, saying: Isma'il ibn al-Khalil narrated to us, from Ali ibn Masher, from his grandmother, who said: When al-Husayn (peace be upon him and her) was killed, I was a young girl, and the sky remained for seven days and nights, looking like a clot.

92 - Ubaydullah ibn Muhammad ibn Ahmad narrated to us, saying: Muhammad ibn Amr narrated to us, saying: Ishaq ibn Ibrahim ibn Sunayn narrated to us, saying: Harun ibn Maruf narrated to us, saying: Bishr ibn al-Sari narrated to us, saying: Qurat ibn Khalid narrated to us, from Abu Rija' who said: "Do not curse the people of this house, for they were our neighbors, and when al-Husayn was killed, he said: 'This one has indeed been killed.' Then Allah, the Almighty, threw two stars into his eyes, and He blinded them."
