The saying of Holy Prophet (peace be upon him and his holy progeny): Then whomsoever of you reaches him (Imam al-Husain (peace be upon him)) then he should help him.

Abu al-Qasim al-Baghawi said: Muhammad ibn Harun Abu Bakr narrated to us, saying: Ibrahim ibn Muhammad al-Ruqy and Ali ibn al-Hasan al-Razi both said: Sa'id ibn Abdul Malik Abu Waqid al-Harani narrated to us, saying: Ata ibn Muslim narrated to us, from Ash'ath ibn Suhaym, from his father, who said: I heard Anas ibn al-Harith say: I heard the Messenger of Allah (peace be upon him and his holy progeny) say: "My son - meaning Hussein - will be killed in a land called Karbala. Whoever among you witnesses that, let him support him." Anas ibn al-Harith then went out to Karbala and was killed with Hussein, and I do not know of anyone else who narrated it.

493 - He said: Mansur ibn Muhammad ibn Mansur al-Wakil al-Asbahani narrated to us, saying: Ishaq ibn Ahmad al-Farsi narrated to us, saying: al-Bukhari narrated to us, saying: Muhammad, a companion of ours from Khurasan, narrated to us, saying: Sa'id ibn Abd al-Malik ibn Waqqad al-Jazari narrated to us, saying: Ata ibn Muslim al-Khuffaf narrated to us, from Ash'ath ibn Suhaym, from his father, from al-Harith, who said: I heard the Messenger of Allah (peace be upon him and his holy progeny) say: "My son will be killed in the land of Iraq, so whoever among you reaches him should support him." He said: Anas was killed with al-Husayn (peace be upon him).

- .... And Anas ibn al-Haarith was mentioned by some later scholars who claimed that he was counted among the people of Kufa and that his hadith was with Ash'ath ibn Suhaym from his father, who said that he heard the Messenger of Allah (peace be upon him and his holy progeny) say: "My son, this one, will be killed in a land of Iraq. Whoever reaches him should support him," and he was killed with Husayn (peace be upon him and his holy progeny). This was mentioned in a narration from Sa'id ibn Abdul Malik al-Harani, narrated from Ata ibn Muslim, who included him among the companions, although he is from the Tabi'un. Ash'ath ibn Suhaym was not counted by the imams among the Ash'athah.

246 - Anas ibn al-Harith: He is counted among the people of Kufa. Ash'ath ibn Suhaym narrated his hadith from his father, from him, that he heard the Prophet (peace be upon him and his holy progeny) say: "My son here will be killed in a land of Iraq. Whoever among you reaches him should support him." He was killed alongside Hussein (peace be upon him and his holy progeny). The three (compilers) mentioned him, although Abu Na'im said: Some of the later scholars, meaning Ibn Mundah, mentioned him among the companions, but he is one of the Tabi'un (successors). Ibn Mundah agreed with Abu Umar and Abu Ahmad al-‘Askari, who said: He had companionship with the Prophet, and Abu Ahmad added: He is said to be Anas ibn Huzlah. Allah knows best.

266 - Anas ibn al-Harith ibn Nabiyeh. Ibn al-Sakan said: There is a concern regarding his narration. Ibn Mundah stated: He is counted among the people of Kufa. Al-Bukhari said: Anas ibn al-Harith was killed alongside Hussein ibn Ali (peace be upon him) . Muhammad heard him say this from Sa'id ibn Abd al-Malik al-Harrani, from Ata ibn Muslim, who said: Ashtath ibn Sahim narrated to us from his father, saying: I heard Anas ibn al-Harith say, "I heard the Messenger of Allah (peace be upon him and his holy progeny) say: 'My son, this (meaning Hussein) will be killed in a land called Karbala. So, whoever witnesses that among you, let him support him.'" Al-Bagawi, Ibn al-Sakan, and others narrated it from this chain as well.

Anas ibn al-Harith ibn Nabiyeh narrated from his father, al-Harith ibn Nabiyeh - who was one of the Companions of the Prophet (peace be upon him and his holy progeny) from the People of the Suffice - who said: "I heard the Messenger of Allah (peace be upon him and his holy progeny) say with Husayn in his arms: 'My son this will be killed in a land called Iraq. Whoever reaches him should support him.'" Anas ibn al-Harith was killed alongside Husayn.
