21758 - Abu al-Nadr narrated to us, saying: Al-Farj narrated to us, saying: Luqman ibn Amir narrated to us, who said: I heard Abu Umamah say: I asked, "O Prophet of Allah, what was the very first thing of your matter?" He replied, "The prayer of my father Ibrahim and the good news of Isa." "And my mother saw that a light was going out from her, illuminating the palaces of Sham."

13842 - Abu Umamah narrated that he said: I asked, "O Messenger of Allah, what was the beginning of your first affair?" He replied: "The الدعوة of Ibrahim and the glad tidings of Isa, and my mother saw that a light was coming forth from her, illuminating the palaces of Sham." Ahmad narrated this, and its chain is good, with other similar reports strengthening it. Al-Tabarani also narrated it.

13845 - And in another narration: "and the glad tidings of Jesus to his people." Ahmad narrated it through several chains, as did al-Bazzar and al-Tabarani in a similar manner, and he said: "I will inform you of its interpretation, the supplication of Ibrahim when he prayed, {And send among them a Messenger from themselves} (Surah al-Baqarah 2:129), and the glad tidings of Jesus son of Mary, his saying: {And giving glad tidings of a Messenger to come after me, whose name is Ahmad} (Surah al-Saff 61:6) and the vision of my mother, in which she saw in her dream that she gave birth to a light that illuminated the palaces of Levant. One of Ahmad's chains has narrators that are trustworthy except for Sa'id ibn Suwayd, and Ibn Hibban regarded him as reliable.

- .... And we have narrated with a حسن chain of narration - God willing - from al-'Arbaad ibn Saariyah that he heard the Prophet (peace be upon him) say: "I am Abdullah and the Seal of the Prophets, and Adam is still lying in his clay." And I will tell you about that: the supplication of my father Ibrahim, the glad tidings of Isa (peace be upon them) for me, and the vision of my mother that she saw when the mother of the Messenger of Allah (peace be upon him) gave birth to him, a light that illuminated the palaces of Sham.

4288 - Abu al-Hasan Ahmad ibn Muhammad al-Anazi narrated to us, saying: Oman ibn Sa'id al-Darimi narrated to us, saying: Haywath ibn Shuraih al-Hadrami narrated to us, saying: Baqiyyah ibn al-Walid narrated to me, from Buhayr ibn Sa'id, from Khalid ibn Ma'dan, from Utbah ibn Abd al-Sulami, that a man asked the Messenger of Allah (peace be upon him and his holy progeny): "What was the first matter of your affair, O Messenger of Allah?" .... They both said: "If his Ummah were to be weighed against it, it would outweigh them." Then they both went away, leaving me, and I felt a great sense of division. Then I went to my mother and informed her of what I had seen, fearing that it might have been confused with me. She said: "I seek refuge with Allah from that." She saddled a camel and placed me on its saddle, riding behind me until we reached my mother. She said: "You have fulfilled my trust and my duty," and I told her what I had encountered, but this did not alarm her. She said: "I saw a light come from me that illuminated the palaces of Sham." This is a sound hadith according to the criteria of Muslim, although both he and al-Bukhari did not record it.

- .... And what al-Waqidi and his scribe, the hadith scholar Muhammad ibn Sa'd, favored is that he (peace be upon him and his holy progeny) was born after his father had died while he was a fetus in his mother's womb, and this is the utmost form of orphanhood and the highest degree of it. It has been mentioned previously in the hadith "and my mother's vision, which she saw when she was pregnant with me, that a light seemed to shine from her, illuminating the palaces of Damascus." Muhammad ibn Ishaq said: It was narrated that Aminah bint Wahb, the mother of the Messenger of Allah (peace be upon him and his holy progeny), used to say that she was approached when she was pregnant with the Messenger of Allah (peace be upon him and his holy progeny) and told: "You are carrying the master of this Ummah. When he falls to the earth, say: 'I seek refuge for him with the One from the evil of every envious person, from every covenant-breaking noble, and from every watchful servant who would drive away or protect him,' for he is with the All-Praiseworthy, the Majestic, until I show him to you coming to the places of worship." And a sign of this is that a light will accompany him, filling the palaces of Baisan in the land of Syria, and when he falls, name him Muhammad."

And a sign of this is that a light will accompany him, filling the palaces of Baisan in the land of Syria. When he falls, name him Muhammad, for his name in the Torah is Ahmad. He will be praised by the inhabitants of the heavens and the inhabitants of the earth, and his name in the Gospel is Ahmad, praised by the inhabitants of the heavens and the inhabitants of the earth, and his name in the Quran is Muhammad. This and that imply that she saw when she was pregnant with him, peace be upon him and his holy progeny, that a light seemed to shine from her, illuminating the palaces of Damascus, and then when she gave birth to him, she saw with her own eyes the interpretation of that, just as she had seen it before, here.

Volume: (1) - Page Number: (98)

- He said: Muhammad ibn Umar ibn Waqid al-Aslami narrated to us, who said: Ali ibn Yazid ibn Abdullah ibn Wahb ibn Zam'a narrated to me, from his father, from his aunt, who said: We used to hear that when Amina bint Wahb was pregnant with the Messenger of Allah (peace be upon him and his holy progeny), she would say: "I did not feel that I was pregnant with him, nor did I sense any heaviness as women do, except that I noticed the cessation of my menstrual cycle, and sometimes it would resume and I would be fine." A being would come to me while I was between sleep and wakefulness and say: "Did you sense that you are pregnant?" It seemed to me I would reply: "I don't know." He would say: "You are pregnant with the leader of thisumma and its Prophet, and that is on a Monday." She said: So this became something that clarified for me that I was indeed pregnant, then he would delay me until, when my time of delivery approached, that same being would come to me and say: "Say, 'I entrust him to the One, the Absolute, from the evil of every envious person.'" She said: So I would say this, and I mentioned it to my women companions, and they said to me: "Wear a piece of iron on your arms and neck." She said: So I did. She said: But I found that there was no longer anything on me except for a few days, and I would find it cut, and I would not try to replace it.

- .... And in another narration, it was mentioned between the sleeping person and the awake one, and he said: "Did you feel that you have conceived the Master of this Ummah and its Prophet?" Or in another narration, "the Master of all Beings." Be aware of this, and wait for me until my birth is near. Then he came to me and said: "When you give birth to him, say this: 'I seek refuge for him with the One from the evil of every envious person,' and then name him Muhammad." For his name is in the Torah and the Gospel, Ahmad, praised by the inhabitants of the heavens and the inhabitants of the earth, and in the Quran, Muhammad. And the Quran is his book. It will come from Muhammad al-Baqir (peace be upon him) that you should name him Ahmad. Some say that verses will be mentioned after this that have no basis, and if it is established that she said this to him after his birth, it would be evidence for what some people say: that Amina protected the Prophet (peace be upon him) from the evil eye. I say, the apparent meaning of this context is that she did not realize her pregnancy except from the angel's words, for she found nothing to indicate it. She did not feel any heaviness, and it was her custom that her menstruation might return after she had not experienced it in its usual time, and she did not rely on the light's departure from Abdullah and the light's transfer to her face, as mentioned.
