- .... I was informed by Abu al-Husayn Yahya ibn al-Husayn ibn Isma'il al-Alawi, who said: Abu Abd Allah Muhammad ibn Ali ibn al-Husayn al-Hasani narrated to us, saying: Zayd ibn Hajab narrated to us, saying: Muhammad ibn Ammar al-'Attar narrated to us, saying: Ali ibn Muhammad ibn Musa al-Ghatafani narrated to me, saying: Muhammad ibn Harun al-Alawi narrated to me, saying: Muhammad ibn Ali ibn Hamza al-Abbasi narrated to me, saying: my father narrated to me, saying: Ali ibn Musa ibn Ja'far narrated to me, saying: my father narrated to me, from Ja'far ibn Muhammad, from his father
from Ali ibn Abi Talib, who said: The Messenger of Allah (peace be upon him and his holy progeny) said: Gabriel (peace be upon him) descended to me and said: O Muhammad, Allah sends you greetings of peace and says: I have forbidden the Fire to the loins that conveyed you, the womb that bore you, and the bosom that nurtured you. He said: O Gabriel, explain this to me. Gabriel replied: As for the loins, they are Abdullah; as for the womb, it is Amina bint Wahb; and as for the bosom, it is Abd, that is, Abd al-Muttalib, and Fatimah bint Asad. This is undoubtedly a fabricated حديث (hadith), and its chain of narration is as you see.
