Chapter on the Statement Regarding the Family of the Messenger of Allah (peace be upon him and his holy progeny), His Ahlul Bayt, and His Wives
Allah, the Exalted, said: "Indeed, Allah only intends to remove the impurity from you, O People of the Prophet's House, and to purify you with a thorough purification" (Quran 33:33).
The beginning of the verse addresses the wives of the Prophet (peace be upon him and his holy progeny) and His giving them a choice. When they chose Allah and His Messenger and the Hereafter, what Allah had prepared for them was bestowed upon them.

from Umm Salamah, who said: "The following was revealed in my house:
{Indeed, Allah only intends to remove the impurity from you, O People of the Prophet's House, and to purify you with a thorough purification" (Quran 33:33)}
. She continued: "Then the Messenger of Allah (peace be upon him and his holy progeny) sent for Fatimah, Ali, Hasan, and Husayn, and said: 'These are my family'". She said: "So I said, 'O Messenger of Allah, am I not from the People of the House?' He replied, 'Yes, you are, if Allah wills.'" Abu Abdullah said: "This is a sound hadith, its chain is trustworthy, and its narrators are reliable." The Sheikh said: "This reinforces what we have mentioned about the inclusion of His Ahlul Bayt and Wives in the People of His House, and it is incumbent upon us to love and support them all in religion."
