32102 - Muhammad ibn Bashar narrated to us, from Zakariya, from Mus'ab ibn Shaiba, from Safiya bint Shaiba, who said: Aisha said, "The Prophet (peace be upon him and his holy progeny) went out one morning wearing a black woolen cloak that was tightly wrapped, and Hassan came and he entered him with him. Then Hussein came and he entered him with them. Then Fatima came, and he entered her, and then Ali came, and he entered him. Then he said: {Indeed, Allah only wishes to remove the impurity from you, O People of the Prophet's House, and to purify you with a thorough purification} (Surah Al-Ahzab 33:33).

32103 - Muhammad ibn Mus'ab narrated to us, from al-Awza'i, from Shaddad ibn Abi Ammar, who said: I entered upon Wathila while he was with a group of people, and they were mentioning (Ali) and insulting him, and he insulted him along with them. He then said: Would you like me to tell you what I heard from the Messenger of Allah (peace be upon him and his holy progeny)? I said: Yes. He replied: I went to Fatimah to ask her about Ali, and she said: He has gone to the Messenger of Allah (peace be upon him and his holy progeny). So, I went and found him sitting and the Messenger of Allah (peace be upon him and his holy progeny) came with Ali, Hasan, and Husayn, each one of them holding his hand. He brought Ali and Fatimah close and seated them between him, and he made Hasan and Husayn each sit on his thigh. Then he wrapped them all in his cloak, or he said: his shawl, and recited this verse: {Indeed, Allah intends to remove the impurity from you, O People of the Prophet's House, and to make you perfectly pure} (Surah Al-Ahzab 33:33). Then he said: O Allah, these are the People of my House, and the People of my House have more right (to my care).

32272 - Shahdan narrated to us, who said: Hammad ibn Salamah narrated to us, from Ali ibn Zayd from Anas ibn Malik: that the Prophet (sa) used to pass by Fatimah's house for six months when he went out for the Fajr prayer and say: "Prayer, O People of the House": {Indeed, Allah only wishes to remove the impurity from you, O People of the House, and to make you pure and spotless} (Surah Al-Ahzab 33:33).

720 - Yahya ibn Ya'la al-Asha narrated to us, from Yunus ibn Khabbab, from Nafic from Abi al-Hamra, who said: "I witnessed the Prophet (peace be upon him and his holy progeny) for eight months, and whenever he went out to pray, or said to the Fajr prayer, he would pass by Fatimah's door and say: 'Peace be upon you, O People of the House: {Indeed, Allah only intends to remove the impurity from you, O People of the House, and to make you pure and spotless} (Surah Al-Ahzab 33:33)."

722 - Narrated to us by Abu Na'im al-Fadl ibn Dukin, who said: Yunus ibn Abi Ishaq narrated to us, who said: Abu Dawud narrated to us from Abu al-Humra, who said: "I stayed in a state of readiness (muraabitat) in Medina for seven months during the time of the Messenger of Allah (peace be upon him and his holy progeny). He said: I saw the Messenger of Allah (peace be upon him and his holy progeny) whenever dawn broke, come to the door of Ali and Fatimah and say (peace be upon them): 'Prayer, prayer!' {Indeed, Allah only wishes to remove the impurity from you, O People of the Prophet's House, and to purify you with a thorough purification} (Surah Al-Ahzab 33:33).
