3978 - Ibrahim ibn al-Hajjaj al-Sami narrated to us, who said: Hammad ibn Salamah narrated to us, who said: Ali ibn Zayd from Anas: that the Prophet (peace be upon him and his holy progeny) would pass by the door of Fatimah, the daughter of the Prophet, during the Fajr prayer for six months and say: "Prayer, O People of the House," three times, {Indeed, Allah intends to remove from you, O Ahl al-Bayt, all impurity and to purify you with a thorough purification} (Surah al-Ahzab 33:33).

6888 - Muhammad ibn Ishma'il ibn Abi Siminah narrated to us, saying: Abdullah ibn Dawud narrated to us, from Fudayl, from Atiyyah, from Abu Sa'id from Umm Salamah: that the Prophet (peace be upon him and his holy progeny) covered Ali, Fatimah, Hasan, and Husayn with a cloak and then said: "These are my Ahl al-Bayt, to you they are a protection, not to the Fire." Umm Salamah said: So I said, "O Messenger of Allah, am I not one of them?" He replied, "No, but you are upon goodness."

7021 - Abu Khaythamah narrated to us, saying: Muhammad ibn Abdullah al-Asadi narrated to us, saying: Sufyan narrated to us, from Zubaid, from Shahr ibn Hawshab from Umm Salamah: that the Prophet (peace be upon him and his holy progeny) wrapped Ali, Hasan, Husayn, and Fatimah in a cloak and then said: "O Allah, these are the People of My House and My Protection. O Allah, remove from them impurity and purify them thoroughly." Umm Salamah said: I said, "O Messenger of Allah, am I not one of them?" He replied, "You are destined for goodness."
