Abu al-Hamra, the freedman of the Prophet (peace be upon him and his holy progeny) and his servant, is said to have been named Hilal ibn al-Harith.

from Abu al-Hamra, who said: "I stayed in vigil in the city for seven months during the time of the Messenger of Allah (peace be upon him and his holy progeny) and I saw the Messenger of Allah (peace be upon him and his holy progeny) when dawn broke, come to the door of Ali and Fatima (peace be upon them) and say: 'Prayer, prayer': {Indeed, Allah only wishes to remove the impurity from you, O Ahl al-Bayt, and to purify you with a thorough purification} (Surah al-Ahzab 33:33)."
