Al-Dolabi - Al-Thariyyah al-Tahirah al-Nabawiyyah
Zayd ibn Hasan ibn Ali from his father al-Hasan ibn Ali (RA) all together

121 - Abu al-Qasim Kahmas ibn Mu'mar narrated to me that Abu Muhammad Isma'il ibn Muhammad ibn Ishaq ibn Ja'far ibn Muhammad ibn Ali ibn Husayn ibn Ali ibn Abi Talib told them, as did my uncle Ali ibn Ja'far ibn Muhammad ibn Husayn ibn Zayd, from Hasan ibn Zayd ibn Hasan ibn Ali from his father, who said: Al-Hasan ibn Ali addressed the people when Ali was killed. He praised Allah and extolled Him, then said: "A man was taken in this night who was not surpassed by those before him, nor will those after him reach him. The Messenger of Allah (peace be upon him and his holy progeny) used to give him his banner and he would fight, with Gabriel on his right and Michael on his left. He would not return until Allah opened (victories) for him. He left nothing on the surface of the earth, neither gold nor silver, except for seven hundred dirhams that remained from his provisions, which he intended to use to buy a servant for his family." Then he said: "O people, whoever knows me, knows me, and whoever does not know me, I am al-Hasan ibn Ali. I am the son of the Wasi (successor). I am the son of the bearer of good tidings. I am the son of the warner. I am the son of the caller to Allah by His permission and the luminous lamp. I am from the Ahl al-Bayt (People of the House) whom Gabriel used to descend among and ascend from.
I am from the Ahl al-Bayt whom Allah has purified and kept away from (all) impurity. I am from the Ahl al-Bayt whose love Allah has made obligatory upon every Muslim." He said to His Prophet: { "Say, 'I do not ask you for it any reward except for love in kinship,' and whoever performs a good deed, We will increase him in it a goodnes" } (Surah ash-Shura 42:23). So performing a good deed is our love, the Ahl al-Bayt." Abu Abdullah al-Husayn ibn Ali ibn al-Hasan ibn Ali ibn Umar ibn al-Husayn ibn Ali ibn Abi Talib narrated to me that my father narrated to him, and that Husayn ibn Zayd narrated to him from Hasan ibn Zayd ibn Hasan ibn Ali, without mentioning his father, who said: Al-Hasan ibn Ali addressed the people when Ali ibn Abi Talib was killed and mentioned something similar.
