Ibn Adi - al-Kamil fi Duafa al-Rijal - 2080: Yunus ibn Khabbab, a Kufi.
Volume: (8) - Page Number: (518/519)
- Narrated to us: Ibrahim ibn Asbat narrated to us: Abdullah ibn Umar ibn Aban narrated to us: Yahya ibn Ya'la narrated to us: Yunus ibn Khabbab narrated to us from Nafi from Abu al-Khadran, who said: "I witnessed the Messenger of Allah (peace be upon him and his holy progeny) for eight months when he would go out for the Fajr prayer or, he said, for the prayer. He would pass by Fatimah's door and say: 'Peace be upon you and the mercy of Allah and His blessings. Prayer is due, may Allah have mercy on you.'" {Indeed, Allah only wishes to remove the impurity from you, O People of the Prophet's House, and to purify you with a thorough purification} (Surah al-Ahzab 33:33). And Yunus ibn Khabbab has other reports not mentioned here, and he is one of the extreme partisans in his Shia beliefs and would speak against Uthman. His narrations, despite his extremism, are worth noting.
