- Al-Hasan ibn Yahya narrated to us, who said: Abd al-Razzaq narrated to us, who said: Ma'mar narrated to us,
from Qatadah regarding His statement: {So whoever argues with you about him after [having received] knowledge has come to you, say, "Come, let us call our sons and your sons, our women and your women, and ourselves and yourselves" (Al-Imran 3:61)}. He said: It has been reported to us that the Prophet of Allah (peace be upon him and his holy progeny) went out at night from the people of Najran, and when they saw him go out, they were apprehensive and dispersed, so they returned. Ma'mar
said that Qatadah said: When the Prophet (peace be upon him and his holy progeny) intended to go to the people of Najran, he took the hands of Hasan and Husayn (peace be upon them) and said to Fatimah: "Follow us." When the enemies of Allah saw this, they returned.
