Volume: (2) - Page Number: (448)
3728 - Abu al-Qasim al-Hasan ibn Muhammad al-Sukuni narrated to us in Kufa, saying: Ubayd ibn Kathir al-Amiri narrated to us, saying: Yahya ibn Muhammad ibn Abdullah al-Darimi narrated to us, saying: Abdul Razzaq informed us, from Ibn Uyayna, from Muhammad ibn Suqah, from Muhammad ibn al-Munkadir
from Jabir (may Allah be pleased with him), who said: The Messenger of Allah (peace be upon him and his holy progeny) said, "And indeed, he is a sign for the Hour." He then said:"The stars are a safeguard for the people of heaven. When they disappear, what they are promised will come to them, and I am a safeguard for my companions as long as I am among them. When I disappear, what they are promised will come to them, and the people of my household are a safeguard for my nation. When the people of my household are gone, what they are promised will come to them." The narration is authentic in its chain, but they did not include it in their collections.
