6661 - Ahmad ibn Ali ibn al-Munthir narrated to us, saying: Ibn al-Ja'd al-Jawhari narrated to us, saying: Zuhair ibn Mu'awiya narrated to us from Ziyad ibn Khaythama from al-Aswad ibn Sa'id al-Hamdani, who said: I heard Jabir ibn Samura say: I heard the Messenger of Allah (peace be upon him and his holy progeny) say: "There will be twelve caliphs after me, all of them from Quraysh." When he returned to his home, Quraysh came to him and said: "What will happen then?" He replied: "Then there will be chaos."

6662 - Narrated to us by 'Imran ibn Musa ibn Maja'sh, who said: Hudbah ibn Khalid narrated to us, who said: Hammad ibn Salamah narrated to us from Samak ibn Harb, who said: I heard Jabir ibn Samurah say: I heard the Messenger of Allah (peace be upon him) say: "Islam will continue to be mighty until twelve Caliphs have passed." He then said a word that I did not understand. I said to my father, "What did he say?" He replied, "They will all be from Quraysh."

6663 - Bakr ibn Ahmad ibn Sa'id al-Tahhi narrated to us, saying: Nasr ibn Ali ibn Nasr narrated to us, saying: Yazid ibn Zurai narrated to us, from Ibn A'un, from al-Sha'bi from Jabir ibn Samura, who said: The Messenger of Allah (peace be upon him and his holy progeny) said: "This religion will continue to be mighty and protected, and they will be supported against those who oppose them, until there are twelve leaders." He then spoke a word that made me unable to hear, and I said to my father, "What did he say?" He replied: "All of them will be from Quraysh."
