Volume: (1) - Page Number: (263)
859 - Ahmad narrated to us, who said: Al-Husayn narrated to us, who said: Sulayman narrated to us, from Amr, from Furāt al-Qazzāz, from Ubayd Allah ibn Ubayd, from Jabir ibn Samurah, who said: My father and I entered upon the Messenger of Allah, and he prayed over us. When he finished the prayer, the people gestured with their hands to the right and left. Yahiya saw them and said: "What is the matter with you that you are waving your hands to the right and left like the tails of horses?" He then continued, "When one of you finishes the prayer, let him greet with peace whoever is on his right and whoever is on his left." However, when they prayed with him again, they did not do that. We sat with him,
and he said: "Islam will continue to be dominant until there are twelve rulers or caliphs, all of whom will be from Quraysh." This hadith was not narrated from Furāt except by Amr.
