485 - Ahmad ibn Ishaq narrated to us, saying: Ubayd ibn al-Hasan narrated to us, who said: Sahel ibn Uthman narrated to us, who said: Ali ibn Musher narrated to us, from Dawud ibn Abi Hind, from al-Sha'bi. Abu Amr ibn Hamdan narrated to us, saying: al-Hasan ibn Sufyan narrated to us, Muhammad ibn Abdul-Rahman al-'Allaf narrated to us, saying: Muhammad ibn Sawaa narrated to us, who said: Sa'id narrated to us, from Qatadah, from al-Sha'bi
from Jabir ibn Samurah, who said: The Prophet (peace be upon him and his holy progeny) delivered a sermon and said: "This religion will remain mighty, unharmed by those who oppose it, until twelve caliphs have passed." The people murmured, and the Messenger of Allah (peace be upon him and his holy progeny) spoke a word that I did not understand, so I said to my father: What did the Messenger of Allah (peace be upon him and his holy progeny) say?
He replied: "They are all from Quraysh."
